Since their premiere performance 30 years ago, DIVA has toured the world to critical and popular acclaim. Performance highlights include Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl and Jazz Festivals around the globe. DIVA was featured in Maurice Hines’ award-winning musical Tappin’ Thru Life and has shared the stage with Nancy Wilson, Joe Williams, Billy Taylor, Dave Brubeck, and others jazz luminaries. Notable appearances include the NEA Jazz Masters Awards; A PBS special with Maurice Hines; the NBC/Macy’s Fireworks; the award-winning film, The Girls in the Band and The Kennedy Center’s 25th Anniversary. DIVA was founded by Stanley Kay in 1992.
