The boys has always been political. It was cool at first because it was more subtle and they seemed to criticize both sides. Season 4 was just a hard-core lefty spank fantasy. A complete straw man of everything conservative and pretty blatantly referencing current politics in a ridiculous way. That being said, It's still a great show. I dont have to agree with everything I watch. I just wish they didn't try so hard to push a BS political agenda.
@@MrChocolateReviews Combat wise, yeah you're right. But the big selling point of this game opposed to previous games from Team Ninja is that it's open world, right? Every single thing about the world by design is Assassin Creed, literally everything. Have you played any of the last 3 big AC games?
@@Mmachine88 yep every one. Idk maybe because it doesn’t feel like a slog like those games. I felt like if something was on a map it was at least decent to look at meanwhile the newer ac games seems to just have busy work to grind levels etc
@@MrChocolateReviews well, I'll certainly agree with you and say there is for sure a chunk of content in AC games , especially now adays that does feel like filler (a slog, as you said) but do you really genuinely feel like everything in Ronin, in terms of the world and things to do in it are better than AC ? I respect your view and opinion of the game! A lot of what I played of the game and heard from folks who enjoy both games/ genres and IP, seem to have the opinion that Ronin feeling like a "check-box open world, with TeamNinjas combat more or less" and what I've seen from many is also mention how Rise of The Ronins open world is probably the worst part of the game (whether they enjoyed the game or like the open worldness, that part of the game still seemed to be the least best thing about it, if that makes sense) .
@@Mmachine88yeah I definitely agree that’s why one of my complaints was the story etc because the side stories are decent but not decent enough for me to do a lot of them but atp I think it’s all open world games and fatigue. I think the last open world game I loved side missions in was Spiderman 2 and even then a lot of it wasn’t the best 🤣
How are you doing today and how your day? Great movie review. I actually enjoyed the movie, well at least the 2nd half of the movie. The movie did a great job develop its characters. One was struggling what happen in the past, one wanted to fix the issue at hand, and one was pretty cocky and feel like he can take on the world. Its was ok chemistry. I did not have any issue with that.
@@Kayjay-pNative lol that’s your opinion. When I made that comment in the vid I meant how people hated the story in the game and gave it a 0/10. Gameplay and graphics alone bump it higher than that. The point is to show that people have ignorant biases. Like with this game I saw 4/10 and lower because of graphics. Meanwhile gameplay etc makes this game better than that. That was the point of that comment. The fact that it’s rare for anything to be that low unless u ignore everything else these things offer
@@Kayjay-pNative lol yessir sorry. I think it def had its pacing issues and some other problems. Wonder how that’ll correlate in the tv show. Heard they are gonna milk it 3 season for part 2
I was hyped for this one to be honest even more than Dragon's Dogma 2 (They came out nearly the same day) since I am a massive Nioh fan. However, it being a PS5 exclusive quickly killed the hype for me.
My guy, how it going today and how your weekend? I did not see this movie because I went to see MaXXXine at the time? But I got to ask, what is your favorite Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johanson movie?
I actually like the movie. Started off slow but turn out to be a great movie. Nicolas Freaking Case did it again and Blair Underwood who has been underestimate in his career. For some reason, they love doing some type of satanic things in small town in the middle of nowhere with very little population in the town.
Horizon - VERY Disappointing! - A movie plot is the central storyline that guides an audience through the film’s events and character developments. The sequence of actions, conflicts, and resolutions creates the narrative structure and propels the story forward, ultimately delivering a cohesive and engaging cinematic experience. This film experience highly lacked engaging relatability and realty. THE GOOD: The best plots, in any movie, are driven by characters making tough decisions to achieve a goal, all while overcoming obstacle after obstacle to get there.- There were 3 different plots and some sub-plots yet each plot was limited on storyline and just thrust on the audience, without build up. The boy and his struggle with his parents killed by indians was good and believable, other outstanding moments were, Luke Wilson played a wagon train forman, was believable and relatable. The scenery of Utah and Wyoming were nice and some of the indian character performances were deep and relatable- THE BAD: It was SO staged, every time there is someone talking to another person there are 6 to 14 people just standing behind them in chorus rows just SILENTLY STANDING, waiting extras. HELLO?!! Kevin, this is the wild west, people were busy from sun up to sun down WORKING - not standing around like cardboard cut outs.-BASICALLY EVERY SCENE - except the indian attacks - was not believable. Also, the scene where the girl had to identify her dead parents from the indian attack and walks along the wagon with every dead body, boots sticking out - having BRAND NEW STUDIO boots on was ridiculous!! - Kevin, audience can SEE this, so fire the costume designer, or update them in the dailies, most people in REALITY were poor in the Wild West, and did not have brand new clothes FROM THE STUDIO!! There are 3 different plots that dont intermingle, OK, but the character development and motivation was not developed so, the empathetic relation between audience and character was lacking, making you not care for anyone or their resolutions. THE UGLY: Anyway, its just another netflix serious - NOT a Major Motion Western, like "True Grit" , but Danny Huston, must have kissed Kevins ass, when they were together on Yellowstone, because he cant act in this. Sorry folks, I wanted a good Western too but I give it a boring C+ and I watched it 3x to make sure!
This game needed an remake in the worse way. Its been a while since I play the old one but it look decent at best. How are you and how was your weekend?
How are you doing today and how your day? I thought it was a solid movie but I did not see the first two movies she made. Maybe my opinion would change if I saw those two movies. I took it as an typical slasher 80 type movie? I do alway appreciate your insights of your movie reviews.
we were hitting one of those punching machines and we all hit it pretty hard we are all former athletes but one of my buddies is a 6'5" combat vet broke the machine it sounded like a car crash
Go watch Dances with Wolves. 1990. Kevin Costner first directed film. Won 7 academy awards. Won best picture! It is credited as a leading influence for the revitalization of the Western genre of filmmaking in Hollywood. In 2007, Dances with Wolves was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
Mr, Chocolate...loved that you loved this movie. Heading to the theater, I hit up a big gas station, bought the biggest bag of Old Trapper plain beef jerky that they sold, then entered the theater with a big water and my pocketed jerky. Water, cured beef and Horizon...the ideal movie package. This movie rocked. I absolutely was glued to every realistic scene. Nothing looked faked or forced. Everything looked and felt legit. Part three is being filmed now, so don't worry, Mr. Chocolate, it's happening! The 4 chapters will be done! A phenomenal work in the film arts! Masterclass! So amped for Chapter 2, which Kevin said is more intense! Go see this movie!!! DR Anon 7. 4. 2024
The way those monsters coming in the movie gave me the alien isolation video game play vibes where you have to stay quiet the whole time. Any noise you make, they are on top of you like white on rice. Very solid movie review and how are you doing today?
How are you doing today and how your weekend? I saw this movie were showing in theater but not sure if I wanted to see it? Kevin Costner is a not bad actor. Some hit and miss there but I do like westerns that the storyline make sense. So I am just here to hear your thoughts on it.
I love Yellowstone but Kevin I used to be against for wanting to leave it. But I understand now. The amount of people saying Taylor Sheridan is an awful person are staggering.
Totally agree. I still love his shows like Mayor of Kingstown and Spec Ops Lioness but according to Kevin he signed on to make 5 seasons and that’s what he did. The rest is just milking it due to success unfortunately.
Thanks! I pretty much play everything I get my hands on. I’ll go from a dragon quest or persona to something like final fantasy, call of duty, Mario, etc. Love them all!
I was nervous about how this sequel plays and left the theater FEEL GOOD. It took 9 years of waiting and development... The sequel avoided ",the message" and "modern audience" trap that plagued previous Pixar projects and stuck to a Solid Great Story for Family Entertainment. Sorry Bob Iger. .the glory belongs to Pixar. ...not you and your Disney.
Excellent review. I thought the movie started off of but toward the end, they did Tom Hardy dirty. That was cold blooded. The guy help establish a gang that people feel like they are welcome and no one seek revenge on that.
How are you doing today and how your day? I heard this movie was pretty good but Im just here to hear your review of it. I am not sure what to think of Glen Powell as an actor but he been ok. Play in a few hit or miss. I think he was in the latest movie Top Gun with Tom Cruise.
I was confused watching this movie? Gave it a chance and like this is my first and my last time watching. I will say this. Definitely not the worst movie this year?
Excellent movie review my friend. You surely know how to keep your audience entertained. That what makes you so good, Right. This is one of those movies that you can take a kid there and can learn life lessons with the different emotions. Everyone has to go through different emotions based on different circumstances.
