Swift 6 is an effying nightmare. I'm planning to leave app development for Apple after this. They are forcing newbies to implement the most complicated feature of computer programming right from the beginning or their apps won't work. Just nuts.
Lol I thought Apple was smart to never talk about ai, but they outcringed even Google with Apple Intelligence bullshit😅 It totally shows that ai is a scam and I wasted 1,5 years learning Python and building stuff around LLMs😅
Isn't upgrading to Swift 6 completely optional? I get its a bit and like most of it but "breaking your app" seems a bit misleading because migration is optional and it doesn't force you to
Soon there are going to be features and frameworks that won't work with previous Swift versions. Sooner or later everybody will have to migrate, and be forced to learn concurrency or not be able to do anything. It is crazy.

Thanks. I narrowly escaped having a Ph.D. in type safety myself, but I fully blame those folks for breaking my Swift apps! (For full disclosure, I am playing a character and I do not actually have a job at Apple Park or an Eichler.)
I'm glad someone saw the serious critique behind the humor. Apple has people from all walks of life (except bald guys who I presume can't cut it in an org where Craig Federighi rises to the top), and then makes them act whiter than me.
That's actually what my history teacher mr peters used to say. "If you dont know the answer, pick C or B" cuz the answer was almost never D and rarely A. Meaning technically you have 50/50 odds between B and C.
