We are a Christian afro-fusion band. Zidi is a Swahili word meaning exceed; taken from Psalm 23:5 “He anoints my head and my cup overflows(excesses)”. Our music seeks to not only entertain but transform and root its generation in God.
Zidi has three records: Motisha (2007) Shekinah (2015) and Nawe (2022).

Zidi the band hosts a concert called Kivuli; which is music hung-out event. Kivuli means “shadow” and is coined from psalm91:1 “abiding under the shadow of the Almighty”.
