At this far into the game, Iridium is the least of your concerns. Qi Gems are worth 100x more than any Iridium Node you find, and you can always trigger the switch at the entrance to activate the Dangerous enemies afterwards.
I always loved that I can go for a legendary fish one day and it feels like the most impossible task even with a tricked out rod, and then I come back the next day and its like they're sleeping.
I'm proud to say that last Monday I made it to level 100 of the Skull Cavern only using three staircases! Granted I was on year 4 and had a lot of stuff lol but combat isnt my forte and I'm still proud of myself
Omg, I reached the level 100 for the first time a few weeks ago on year three, I used like 20 staircases and I was suuper proud of myself too! Your achievement is amazing, don’t downplay it, congrats! 🥰
You don't even need stone anymore to get loads of staircases. You can trade in 1 Jade for 1 staircase every Sunday at the desert trader. You'll be golden if you just set up a whole bunch of jade crystallariums.
there are many factors. luck helps. food helps and what bobbers you are using. if you are still having trouble get the fishing mastery and the new rod. it has two bobber spots. do all the things and half your bar is a catch zone. if you cant then then its not the games fault.
Listen, I did this too to get to level 100, but I didn’t pass nearly this much iridium. When I was doing it though I didn’t have the galaxy sword and could barely survive there. Now that I’ve got it I’m definitely going back to get all the resources.
@machintrucGaming I caught the mutated carp by accident lol. I didn't even know there was a legendary fish in the sewers, I just thought "huh what happens if I fish here" and boom legendary fish
its not hard. use the right stuff and they help. trap bobber slows down the bar when not catching and cork bobber makes the bar bigger. also use food to increase your bar and the new bait, deluxe bait, also make the bar bigger. on and last tip tap your button, dont hold.
Ok but the legend was actually a super easy catch for me. I didn't even have an effect boosting my fishing skill and I got the legend first try, I just needed the trap bobber and some good hand eye coordination. I also caught the Glacierfish first try, but that was with a status effect. The angler was rlly easy to catch, but the Crimsonfish was a huge pain for me. That took like half the season. I haven't caught the mutant carp yet, just because I haven't been trying to yet.
Bro wtf I had level 16 fishing and I caught it first try but it took a solid 3 minutes and I consider myself a pretty good fisher the lava eel was easier
@@cluelessmango768 Legend its the strongest fish according to the wiki with a difficult of 110, but glacierfish apparently have a difficult of 100. So yeah, you're correct
@@thwimp58 they have been ranked and tested, on average the glacierfish is harder but whats funny is its the one that breaks the most (sitting at the bottom). if i remember right it goes glacier, legend, crimson, angler then mutant. tbh that was before 1.6 but i dont see why CA would change the difficulty.
If you haven't tried it yet, a bit of electrical contact spray into the base of the stick might loosen any debris in there and fix the problem. Its saved me having to replace several controllers.
