Hi Justin, great video. Correct me if I am wrong - there is a huge difference between sport and normal mode. Opening exhaust flaps makes almost no difference. It look like the crucial is engine mode for the sound.
The main difference between sport and normal is that in sports mode there is burbles/crackles on throttle lift off in terms of sound. In sports mode, throttle response is a lot sharper and the cooling system on the car is a lot more aggressive. Hope this answer your questions!

Hi bro, tires will be able to last the whole session no problem, but it will take quite a lot of your lifespan out of your tires. Your tires might get a little hot after 3-4 laps, so once you feel your car sliding around a bit, you might want to pit and reduce the pressure on your tires.
Great vid man! Thanks for filming all the permutations. I think the car with the PSE off is still loud with pops and crackles, and with the valves open not much louder. I have a 981 Cayman S with standard exhaust. It’s pretty quiet which is good on long journeys. Actually at 2000 rpm I can’t hear the exhaust only tyre roar. I thought that the PSE would be similar to mine with valves closed but I think they are totally different systems. Gonna keep mine quiet I think, or I could regret it. Regards..
It isn't that loud from the cabin, but at 2-2.3k rpm, under load on 7th, you can hear a bit of the exhaust sound in the cabin (bassy noise). The PSE is a quite a bit louder on valves open compared to the standard exhaust and produces more pronounced crackles on sports mode. I think it depends on your usage and your tolerance on cabin noise.
2:01 such a shame car makers are adding these fake "brap pop brap pop brap" noises on gear changes, to simulate overrun. i thought only BMW did it on their "look-at-me" models, but now Porsche has done it :( shameful. suppose that just adds value to the older, more pure, models.
