Party like a board gamer! We're a group of board game creators and enthusiasts that love to play any and all types of games - from the simplest game of cards to hours long campaigns.
On this channel, we unbox, play, and review all of the games that we can get our hands on.
Subscribe to our channel to see all of our latest videos. We post several times a week and we'll have a new board game review every Thursday at 10AM EST.
We also create board games! Our first game was successfully funded on Kickstarter - it's a wild card game called Party Tails and it's available on Amazon now! Our next game is a time travel themed, set collection game called Timelancers and will be coming to Kickstarter in 2023.
Loved this whole review. It was succinct and honest and talked about component quality! Everything else was paid advertisements endorsing the game. They just shut down the mobile app so I figured it couldn’t have been that good!
Found this video because I was looking for info for Harvest, listed for sale on my local FB marketplace. I have no idea what edition it is, but even the chipboard components look great. Thanks for the informative video!
First time watcher. Thanks for the insight, saw the game at my local store thought it looked interesting. I was just like to add maybe show a little more of the game? I have never played, your descriptions definitely paint a picture, but some examples couldnbe nice. Thanks.
Thank you for watching. We’re currently working on a couple of new video ideas to showcase more of the gameplay for the games we review. We’ll be going back through our previous reviews and creating new content to go along with it. Especially for the games that we enjoyed.
Oo we licking Chris’s now! 😂 The house rule became such a fun change that we added it to our rules for our standard edition that’s out now! You guys are hilarious! It was so much fun playing with you! Love how you mentioned playing with strangers, cause we literally played this without knowing each other and we debated all night! Thank you all so much! Glad you had a great time!
My brother is a huge gym bro but definitely would hate this game. He actually likes games with a decent amount of strategy like pokemon, command of nature, etc.
I like your kitty. Black cats are so beautiful. I remember seeing the commercial for this game. I never asked for it for a birthday or Christmas, because I never thought about it. I was at a bookstore one day, and I saw a special anniversary reproduction of it, and I bought it, because I had always wanted to play it. It's a pain in the neck to set up, but worth it (I usually have to set it up because I'm usually the only one who wants to play it). My sister has a way to play. She always puts the characters she hates (even if she's holding the card herself) in the death traps. One of these days, we're going to end up with the cat winning, which is my ultimate goal (I'm obsessed with cats).
I have four brothers, and this game sounds like it may need to get thrown away in the middle of gameplay as I had to do with Monopoly City one time because the rules were not nearly strict enough! When you get with a group of very competitive players, every single person is trying to find an edge to help themselves win! If you’re supposed to only use the tiles, then the player should NOT be able to use other words to help convince the group as to why their chosen words created the best answer! And if that is not explicitly explained in the rules before play, then why are we even using these tiles?😂 I think the game should not be played with filler words and that’s why it inherently creates the need for multiple ways of interpretation when player’s answers are read out loud! You can’t use anything other than what you put on your little game board to get the judge to choose your answer!
Finders Keepers looks really cool with the use of a smartphone or tablet to facilitate the game mechanics. Great coverage of the day, thanks for sharing!
Whatever the catapult game at 2:08 is, I'd be most interested in that. Wait, was Comic Hunters available at Gen Con? That one is so pretty! I've changed my vote, if it was there.
