Nobody runs any haste of any kind in s9, even with a lock/sham team, hitting the 12.5% breakpoint takes too much from other stats. So it's crit all the way right now. We'll see about getting a passive 5% breakpoint in the coming seasons for non sham/lock/spriest teams. It's doing alright but there's definitely a player drop-off now that we're a few months in and TWW is out. It's hard to find people for 3s when you used to just find a bud and queue 2s in wrath. There's still decent queues at most ratings, last week should be real competitive on the ladder.
@kevinneparidze3973 I think cata 3s and combat/time to kill feel very nice in cata. Mage is also super strong and it feels nice doing real damage. Wrath was special though. I wish I made a shadow priest / mage series too.
@@MegaphoneTV yeah 3s for sure, but for 2s wrath all the way imo. I find wrath frost mage so much more fun to play, even if it’s not as strong as in cata.
Also mega, i know you think the algorithm requires a 12min video and that works if you do it everyday. But because your videos a few and far between you could boost your watch time by pumping out 40 minute plus videos. I watch all your content every time it drops. I found you through network and he hardly ever uploads anymore.
Well first thanks for the kind words, if I could hand out a top viewer badge I would. As for the runtime of the videos, I'm not really thinking in terms of algorithm maxxing, it's just kind of where I naturally settled. I like to have ~~4-6 unique matchups per video for variety, and each video to me represents "1 or 2" queue sessions patched together, and eventually this settled around 10-12 minutes ish. It's kind of hard to make vids over 15+ minutes outside of "finale" style vids. At that point I'd have to start pooling together clips from like 3+ sessions, or have repeat matches versus people or repeat matchups. Not to say that would make for a bad video, but it's an extra level of effort and I'm not sure if I could keep the quality or pacing decent the whole runtime. But I do have some ideas for longform videos, right now I'm thinking 2s commentary vids or something along the lines since the matches are super long. I'll take the suggestion to heart thanks again <3
@MegaphoneTV I see where you are coming from brother. The 2s long form would be sweet forreal. And since 2s rating isn't really that important, maybe you could try different comps, like a short series where you play 2s with every class in a kind of king of the hill format. We know you are cracked so if we see games where you lose that's fine forsure
I wish pugs wouldn't always be so negative. Always thinks people are dead because of one tiny mistake. That's no way to live life. Cup half full full. Just remember every member of the team plays lights out, so don't sweat the little things. Positively goes a long ways my guy

I main fire mage very nice gameplay I been stressing out on cata hpally trying to heal warriors is FCKN insane man the way they tunnel and they’re so squishy 😂
@dmilla9600 haha yeah they feel 3x more squishy compared to wrath. But they are also damage beasts too nobody gives them credit, a good warrior is so noticeable vs an average warrior
@@MegaphoneTV I play with a 2.8 WOTLK warr he does 10-14K dmg every game but if we don’t land a kill with bubble or trinket it’s GG MOST of the time, playing tsg at 2Kcr queing into them jungle/kittys with instant clones are a night mare

I just discovered your channel and love your videos! I'm playing as a human mage but now I'm considering about racial change to troll (I can do that on my server once per character). You think it's 100% worth it or the second trinket is good too? Your burst is insane and I feel that your opponents makes soo much more mistakes because of that (panic mode :D). Also it's worth mentioning that I'm playing at season 5 (blue savage / epic hateful gear) and it's hard to even gem for 120 spell pene. Didn't found any videos from s5 on your channel, can you throw some tips for this phase? :) Waiting for more vids! <3
Hey man, Human is the way to go for sure. The trinket advantage especially in s7/s8 is massive. I think you could make an argument for Troll in S5 but the scales tip in favor of Human eventually. I do have a gearing guide for Season 5, just gotta go back through the channel!
