I get up in a small village in Scotland. This made me think of all the folk I grew up around who have passed away. Funny how a TV show can bring a tear to and old blokes eye .
The last man standing of the GREAT Test Match Special Team- Arlott,Johnston, Mosey,Martin- Jenkins,Bailey and Trueman. Each with a voice that was completely made for radio.Happy Days😊
I nearly cried at this final moment. Love the last bit when Boabby's older too, that was really clever. Love this show so much, this is one of my favourite comedy shows of all time along with Only Fools and Horses.
I've only just picked up on the saddest implication. Jack, Victor, Tam, Winston, Meena, Francis, Navid then Isa. Isa was the last to go, meaning she spent her remaining time with none of her pals to blether too.
I m not crying. There is something in my eye. And, yes, that thing is there every time I watch “this episode!” I m not even a Scottish! A Turkish man who lives in Canada crying over a Scottish TV series! What’s wrong with me? 😢
This hits you right in the heart , as these characters are friends if not honourable family members and to watch them just disappear like that , it's like losing someone in real life , one moment they are here and the next they are gone forever...Very sad.
I m on a train and was watching it to pass time without knowing this was the last episode. I did have tears. It supposed to be spending fun time while traveling!
When Winston dissappeard that killed me, well I'm still watching re runs on u tube everyday cos it makes me laugh out loud, I miss it but thats life Ha listen 2 me thinking it was real, 2 me it was Thank u everyone who made that show and that was in it,so real 2 life Brillant
I remember back in high school the teacher had us watch this right before Christmas vacation...When this part came she said "this is the only funny part of the whole move"
After watching this as an American who frequents auctions. I wish our auctioneers spoke like this. You can actually understand them. I don’t understand why ours have to talk so fast and mumbled. The first time I went to an auction, I bid against myself because I had no clue what he was saying. 😂
Over here carauctions they speak fast but antique auctions they go slow but if u don’t bid quick enough they say sold. It makes people bid quicker and higher quick Y.
Probably a combination of two things: the faster they go the less time people have to speak and the more likely they are to get swept into a back-and-forth bidding war. The less intelligible they are the easier it is for people to lose track of how much they're actually bidding and may over-extend themselves. tl;dr manipulation tactics for your money.
I’m Welsh and this is one of the best comedies of my generation, we have had some fantastic comedies in wales my fav satellite city but nothing of this calibre, don’t even get me started with gavin and stacey set in my home town and imo it’s shit. Still game the final episode my god I welled my heart out.
