Ainda que a parte das informações seja boa, ao contrário do cara anterior, achei insuportável ouvir essa distorção nojenta, parece sempre a mesma coisa com mais nédio ou menos médio.
My son is building a bass pedal board for church which will have a Sansamp, after messing with it for a bit i found that the Blend all they way on and everything else at 12 o'clock is where it shines for me through my Gallien-Kruger 700RB. The blend wide open gives you that Ampeg SVT sound
EASY. They sounds almost identical BUT.........BOSS DOESN'T HURT MY EAR. THE PINK ONE IS ANOYING IF YOU LISTENING CLOSELY. THERE'S A FREQUENCY THAT IS ANNOYING 😮
Very good! I would have liked to have heard just the guitar without the BT and without stereo folds (layers). Just a mono track at some point in the video to feel the amp's tone. This would be useful for me here. Thank you!
The one I ordered a few years ago died within 10 minutes of me checking it out. It sounded better than I expected. Stuff happens; I think I will order another one. My other Joyo gear is tight. Maybe a question..? If I have since acquired Joyo’s “British sound” box, maybe getting this would be redundant? lol.
I know this is an old video.. But I noticed that all your vids have a great deal of low frequency sub-harmonic breakup.. Which is possibly due a tube preamp in the Mesa, Mic placement, Mic signal clipping, Speaker breakup.. Mix of some or all, But an awful lot of either mic signal clipping, Preamp tube overdrive, And/or speaker “cone cry” doesn’t sound the best.. Plus it really doesn’t give an accurate sonic picture of an eq, preamp, drive pedal etc..
This for sure the best way to get killer tones drones this pedal, I will even boost it slightly with a ts9 or maxon od808 and it sounds phenomenal. There are so many killer tones you can get from these pedals
THANK YOU!!! FREAKING Finally someone using the ENGL for what it was made for, clean melodic modern technical metal. Not just some stupid chugging and noodling. And from what I can hear from your video the amp is exactly what I am looking for currently (writing some melo death stuff to play with some m8s).
Tenho esse pedal desde 2008 e não sai do meu set, ligo ele e outros pedais no send da minha gx100. É raro eu não usar ele. Custo benefício já foi de cara
For folks like me who are buying their first good quality amp but can't afford a cab yet, the following might be relevant. On the Bugera site about the G5 Infinium- "For safety reasons, always have a cabinet (load) attached to the head. Put the amp on standby for silent practice or direct recording." On the Blackstar site for the HT-5R- "These amps have built-in load protection, meaning you can use them without a cabinet connected for silent practice and recording." Of course, if you can source an inexpensive good cab, the above wouldn't apply, because the G5 is less expensive than the HT-5R.
