Ray acts like its JRs fault with the car accident but its not but its Rays fault the house almost burned down coz he didnt stopped not even after he heard he Fire Alarms....
It’s really both Bobby and Ray’s fault for the car accident that lead Mickey to be put into the hospital, because with what they did to Walt Driscoll it pushed him over the edge. JR had nothing to do with the briefcase switch.
@@jmjfanss Who back fired the plan that Walt and JR had? Bobby and Ray. Had they not have interfered putting Walt into jail, the plan might have gone through. Walt only went after JR in the last string of things. Not to say JR is innocent but they all are to blame.
@@a.b.s_productions You are forgetting that J.R. was selling oil to a country on the U.S. embargo list. Bobby and Ray attempted to put a stop to J.R.'s corrupt dealings.
Like WOW, Ray & Bobby sure had their moments trying to kill J.R. Everytime Bobby jumps on him, it's always Ray & Clayton pulling him off, everytime Ray jumps on him, it's always Bobby pulling him off The show wasn't the same without Jock, I mean sure Larry Hagman was THE Star of the show, sure it was THE #1 Drama for 5 straight seasons from 1979-1984, sure it was in the Nielsen Ratings Top 2 for 5 straight seasons from 1980-1985 and yes, it was in the Nielsen Ratings Top 10 for 7 straight seasons from 1979-1986, but Jim Davis was the Anchor to the show and even Hagman & Steve Kanaly mentioned that on the 2004 Reunion Special, in fact, Kanaly stated that Jim Davis was the Team Captain when it came to Dallas and Jock didn't allow J.R., Bobby nor Ray to fight or start trouble just like Miss Ellie wouldn't allow Sue Ellen nor Pam to fight either When Jock died, it was like the House of South Fork was divided when most of the family split and BTW, this was 35 years ago that this happened and on the Dallas Reunion Special, the fans voted this as the 7th most famous cliffhanger of ALL TIME
I agree, it was Jim Davis’s death along with the changing landscape of TV, because as you noticed once Bobby and Pam divorced there weren’t as many Ewing dinners, of course when Clayton came onboard they had dinners but the whole close knit family divided. It was like no matter the saga of the Ewing’s they still ate breakfast and dinner together. But like every show that needs to stay on top they have to go along with the times.
another reason Ray blamed J.R. the reason Mickey was in the car stop Sue Ellen from DUI she was drinking after she caught J.R. in bed with another woman
Hate how Ray always acts so damn self-righteous. Seriously man, everybody in that family has done something scandalous. Ray and his son Lucas have one thing in common, they both have tempers, and not a lot of brains.
Yes INDEED, this show was once again THE #1 Drama for the 5th Straight Season, but it also climbed BACK UP to THE #1 Spot in the Nielsen Ratings and CBS was once again THE #1 Network and it was also the season that they began their 3 year run with the slogan We've Got the Touch The following season, it dropped back down to the #2 spot and Dynasty took over the #1 spot, but the 85/86 Season, CBS would fall to 2nd place and abc dropped to 3rd place, but NBC would FINALLY climb BACK UP to the #1 spot thanks to the late Brandon Tartikoff bringing us The Cosby Show, Family Ties, Cheers, The Golden Girls and later A Different World & Empty Nest along with 227, Amen, Miami Vice and of course, HUNTER NBC was #1 on Prime Time Television for 6 straight seasons from 1985-1991
jr did deserve it but ray should of taken care of the situation outside of the house. look what happened ! i've really enjoyed DALLAS. just wished it would of gone 14 seasons like p. duffy mentioned.
when i watched this episode, it had the definition of a show in 2008, not 1983, then by the end of the season the definition was crappy. does anybody agree?
You couldn't blame Ray there. There were alot of people that season that wanted to kill JR. Ray, Walt Driscoe, Sue Ellen, Pam. Hell, I think if Jock were alive then, he'd want to kill him.
