Yeahhh, but the thing you have to understand is that that terminology is being made for people whose parent’s were physically and emotionally abusive and neglectful. Parents who absolutely didn’t do the best they could. Parents who left their kids with physical and mental scars. Its cool if you find some use for inner child work in your own context, but a lot of people’s healing work involves putting the blame squarely where it belongs, with the abusive parents. So please try to be considerate of that reality.
