I am familiar with what you are describing but I am confused at how you do the whole afghan on the Tunisian hook. Do you have issues with making your graphgan too large to get the picture in it. So you only do Tunisian graphgans? Sorry so many questions. Good job on your work amazing.
I just watched your video on color changes as im starting colorwork with tunisian, and you mentioned that you cant find a good hook with cables- I use KnitPro tunisian hooks, they work with their circular cables and come with stoppers and a key to keep them nice and tight! beautiful wooden hooks and they feel really great to work with. this is absolutely gorgeous but i can see how a cable would be so useful!
I went to listen to Sleep Is Wrong, didnt expect much, but have now have become the only band that i would see EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME they come around. And would possibly consider traveling to see. wow
I saw them for the 1st time in 2001 and saw them live 17 time before the break up. This Arcata show was my 18th, Albuquerque was 19th, Phoenix for 20th, and the UC Berkeley show was my 21st time seeing them! Never a disappointment and I’m a fan for life!!!
For a cabled crochet hook, look up interconnected or interchangeable crochet hook/tunisian hook. In Australia, KnitPro and Lykke are two brands that I know of that does this. With KnitPro, you get a connection piece that can add cable together.
I don’t have Android anymore but it looks like it is still available. Does this link work? play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ilixa.ebp&pcampaignid=web_share
You could make your own. Just glue or melt a to your hooks the extension cable. You could do it. Or use a piece of the oxygen stuff the rubber thing that the oxygen goes through and snug it on. Idk just an idea.
That’s not a bad idea! The transition would need to be pretty seamless so maybe a combination of the two would work. Someone else told me there actually is a company that makes the cabled 2mm hook, I’ll have to look for it sometime.
When there is a will, there's a way. Lol. You are awesome. I'd love to be as good as you are. I crochet ans trying to find a stirch that works besides the single, double, hdc stitches or c2c. The wide single crochet I like the stitch but it makes for a heavy thick blanket but the back and the front look the same just back side would be backwards not great for words. Idk. I'm glad i found you though. Thank you for sharing your amazing work
Incredible video. The stuff you make with crochet is awe-inspiring. Do you have any tips for using this method with more than two colors. I'm working on some pixel art graphgans and I can't figure out how to work up to three colors.
Sure! I think I’ll make a follow-up video explaining that. To sum it up, the over/under method I use to carry colors can be used the same way, you just have to alternate which ones you aren’t using. Kind of hard to explain in text so I will try to get a video out in a week or so to explain that.
@@chasmccrary4643 I learned through trial and error over many hundreds of thousands of stitches. Haha. If I can save people that hassle I will gladly do so.
