They are really spongy! I agree. It took me 3 tries but I think what helped as going into the Strategy menu and selecting "same target" for all the allies and putting everyone on the highest offensive setting really helped me. Then waiting for "enemy enforcements approach" or whatever that message is and using the ultimate attack.
and sadly LVING won't WORK if you try to FIRST match their lv by hitting Lv 14 from LV 10 then the BOSSES would actually be AT LV 18 instead so on a NG+ run these bosses would likely be AT lvs OVER 50 while STILL being a TIMED battle.
i count myself so lucky that in my first run there were already one or two people that knew what to do in these fights. Going in blind is both fun and can be such a pain. But thankfully I was able on quickly by watching someone do it.....right before I got picked for the airlift XD
Hands down one of the most annoying enemies. He is fast, relentless, wierd flame attacks and just gets the camera into wonky angles. No shame in using thr mimic lol.
I was stuck on this guy for a while but I decided to try the sekiro deflect tear and block a bunch and he was super easy and actually really fun to fight
A true ronin only needs one attack. 😂 (It’s a combo of R1+Triangle godlike speed slash and Triangle counterspark because you can cancel the animation sometimes and take less dmg. Very aggressive)
You can get it in Act 1 (Yokohama) from doing Yukichi Fukuzawa's bond mission, and bond with him increases the level. Tatsumi-ryu stance. Very generous counterspark windows. You also get the Hayabusa-ryu Shinobi stance from that mission as well
