I worked at the local Ford Dealership in my small Minnesota town growing up. I would detail cars and trucks normally. At times id get lucky enough to go on a "Dealer Trade"...usually on my own. An envelope, a cashiers check for the difference and 20 for lunch. Ok to the point...:). My boss was Kim Messelt...he didnt look like a Kim, nut anyway. Probably eas thee coolest, nicest, down to Earth individuals i ever came across. He asked me one day if i wanted to drive a vehicle in the local July 4th parade downtown. I said sure without even really thinking. We walked over to a very large quanset (sp?) and he pulled a dusty tarp off an old Model A... cant remember if it was an A or T. It was a 30's Ford truck with a flat head V8 if my memory serves me correct. Ran great...to me it was Noisy, but the engine had been ckmpletely gone through months beforehand. I think it was 3 in the tree type shifter. Its funny how a video can transport one Back In Time 34 years earlier. I had forgot all about it until now. Thank You and God Bless 🙏
