Thanks for sharing your journey. I too am a new runner. I completed the NHS Couch to 5K programme here in the UK. Then picked up a hip flexor injury. It has taken me 6 weeks to get back to being able to run and have now done the first 2 days of the NRC 10K programme. I have also managed to shed 3st (42lbs) in 3 months. Keep your progress coming!
