Are BA going to replace those old outdated PTV’s in both premium and economy with the newer ones on some of there 772’s cos I don’t know why they didn’t refurbish some of them with the newer economy and premium seats.
This will be sometime in the future :) I already have planned out the rest of my year and unfortunately India is still not a destination. You can look forward to flights to South Korea and Japan in Qatar Airways Qsuite, British Airways flight to Doha, Qatar in Club World Business Class.

Thanks for watching and commenting! The volcano on Big Island had just erupted so a a lot of planes were stuck at their inter-island airports during to traffic restrictions! Our connecting flight was also cancelled to Maui.

Nice video. Quite emotional for me as I spent the first 10 years of my life in Kuwait in the 50s &60s, a great place to be as a young kid. Never managed to get back there as the 787 I captained only went to holiday destinations 😅 In retirement now and funnily enough in a place that has a lot of sun 😂ps never flew our 787-8 /9 with so few passengers..... btw when you taxied a light 787, as this video demonstrate it did sound rather like you were driving a Ford tranist van 😂 Everything is so thin and light, BUT a truly wonderful aeroplane. 😊

I agree, Kuwait is a wonderful country, the hospitality by the locals especially! :) It was a very light load and i was surprised when they announced it, im glad they didnt cancel the flight. The 787 is indeed such a beautiful aircraft, how amazing being a captain on such an aircraft! The wing-flex is one of my favourite parts of it! :P I will be flying back to Kuwait next month and will make sure to make a video of it, maybe catch some extra scenery shots of the city! Thanks for watching and commenting! This flight was a part of a holiday booking on BA.com, which allows me to collect double tier points, and therefor i was not able to see how much each flight cost individually. All i know is that the premium seating cost me 20 euros at check inn.
I was there around that time as well it was during Kona storm didn’t do much went again in may 2023 loved Maui and ohau…flew hnl lax no wifi…loved their baked pizza pocket & Honolulu cookie
