You capture the humanity and austerity of people's faces better than anyone I've ever come across....i think. Those faces... your art....is so....real. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world. May you and your family be blessed with light, love, laughter & good health. 🎨

Do you use the same model all the time? Is she a friend or a professional model? Since we can't attend live model sessions anymore, I'm wondering how you find such a person? Beautiful girl, wonderful painting. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. One more thing, do you freehand draw the image? Incredible drawing. Thanks Patsy, Florida

Hey Mario...I purchased your video "Watercolor Portraits" It did not dissappoint..... AMAZING... Your technique is well presented and thoughtfully delivered.....Funny ..I've never seen anybody painting watercolors on an upright easel before..... I would like to suggest however that you reserve a section on materials I see you use a variety of pigments..would like to have seen your recommendations for pigments, brushes and especially choice of paper...While the experienced watercolorist may know to use, Arches and sable brushes..the beginner who is just being introduced to watercolor may not...and I've found that the paper really makes a difference especially when doing so many layers as in your technique. The only other thing is that at one point in the video while you were mixing colors you stated you were using Panes Grey and I believe a Rose Madder (not sure about the red) but it appears you snuck in another color you did not mention...It looked (like a raw or burnt umber) but you did not mention it...other than that this was a first class tutorial and really helped me in taking my watercolor portraits to the next level. PS ( I used plastic cups with covers instead of muffin pans, so that I could save the washes for later projects ..I'm broke so I have to be frugal)
