Σύμφωνα με τον δήμαρχο Γλυφάδας, το Τραμ πρέπει να ξηλωθεί από την Γλυφάδα γιατί εμποδίζει λέει την πρόσβαση των "πεζών" (τα SUV εννοεί) στο παραλιακό μέτωπο. Είναι αργό σαν μέσο (κινείται γρηγορότερα στην Δημάρχου Αγγέλου Μεταξά από τα ΙΧ), και δεν το χρησιμοποιεί σχεδόν κανείς - όπως βλέπουμε και στο μικρό αυτο βίντεο. Θέλει λέει να το αντικαταστήσει με λεωφορεία - facepalm . Αυτοί είναι οι δήμαρχοι που εκλέγουμε σαν λαός...
Και το timing του βίντεο (μήνας - μέρα - ώρα) δεν είναι καθόλου ενδεικτικό της κίνησης - χρήσης του. Κάποια στιγμή (μέχρι τα μέσα Σεπτεμβρίου ελπίζω) θα ανεβάσω βίντεο με ενδεικτικές πληρότητες συρμών.
Το video είναι πολύ όμορφο και καλογυρισμένο, δυστυχώς όμως εγώ αρρωσταίνω που βλέπω αυτά τα μίζερα γκραφίτις, βαρέθηκα να βλέπω το ψευδώνυμο κάποιου γύφτου με το όνομα ROKO γραμμένο στην Μεσογείων στην Κηφισίας στον Πειραιά στο Λαύριο και παντού, βαρέθηκα να βλέπω να πατάει ο ένας στα κωλογραφίτι του άλλου, βαρέθηκα πια αυτήν την αηδία. Πάλι καλά που σταμάτησε να γίνεται στα τραίνα λόγω καλύτερης φύλαξης.
Love it. I got one 80 1952 loco from the thrift store. And i do a restauration on it. It's really fun to work with an amazing loco, it's so sturdy and strong. And it works perfectly. I will repaint it and fix the couplers and the footsteps in the front and back. Because the sheet metal is broken.
@@sidirodromeas Yes I checked them out. It's fun to have a Fleischman locomotive. The early model. Usually I do Märklin model railroading. I had some Fleischman railways when I was young. These 50" locomotives are built like a tank! Heavy and lots of metal! And superb quality. Maybe I will go for Humbrol Locomotive green color on the model? What's your opinion on that?
@@Ronnymikkonen2686 Yes, like tanks!!! For me the best Fleischmann HO loco representing its heavy construction and quality are the model numbers 1334 & 4370 for SBB Ae 6/6. Try to buy one. Regarding the colour I don't think there ever was a green one.
@@sidirodromeas Thanks for your answers. I know there were non green color on the new locos since this loco was built in 1927-28. The green colored locos were from back in the 1910-20. Every other loco built after 1920 was black. Reichbahn. So I know the history? But I really like to paint it green and black.livery. let's see. I break the German rules doing so? Maybe I should have some penalty for that? Maybe I should keep the model hidden?
Να δούμε πόσο καιρό θα παραμείνει έτσι, πριν την περιλάβουν τα... ελεύθερα καλλιτεχνικά πνεύματα και τη γεμίσουν με ακατάληπτα συνθήματα. Δεν είναι τέχνη αυτό, βρωμιά και καταστροφή είναι. Και οι νυχτοφύλακες του ΟΣΕ είναι γνωστό ότι δεν φυλάνε τα τρένα. Ξέρω περίπτωση που εκτός από ένα μικρό διάστημα στην αρχή, δε ξαναφύλαξε πραγματικά ποτέ! πληρώνεται όμως κανονικά!....
@@sidirodromeas Για τις MLW συγκεκριμένα δεν ξέρω, πάντως τα υπόλοιπα είναι σε απελπιστική κατάσταση. Αυτά που ανέφερα πάντως για τους νυχτοφύλακες ισχύουν. Πεταμένα λεφτά...

Ευχαριστούμε! Είναι δύσκολο να γνωρίζουμε το πρόγραμμα των δοκιμαστικών της εκ των προτέρων το οποίο, για τεχνικούς λόγους, μπορεί να αλλάξει και την τελευταία στιγμή. Υπομονή.
Μπράβο για τα εξαιρετικά πλάνα με αυτήν την μηχανάρα που κοιτάει τα καλώδια ρεύματος από πάνω και τα σνομπάρει, σαν να τους λέει δεν σας έχω ανάγκη, εγώ παράγω το δικό μου ρεύμα και θα συνεχίσω να το κάνω για άλλα 50 χρόνια!!!
Από τις πιο γραφικές διαδρομές της Ευρωπης. Και που δυστυχώς με όσα γίνονται τον τελευταίο καιρό, πλέον την αναπολούμε! Υ.Γ. να φανταστώ ότι ή "συνέχεια" του βρίσκεται στο Οινοή -Αθήνα που είχες ανεβάσει παλιότερα;
Ναι φίλε μου. Τμήματα αυτής της διαδρομής έχω ανεβάσει και παλαιότερα τα οποία όμως γυρίσθηκαν με εξωτερική action κάμερα. Αυτό είναι γυρισμένο με κάμερα DSLR μέσα από τον θάλαμο οδήγησης (πίσω από τα τζάμια) και χωρίς παραμορφώσεις λόγω φακού αλλά και με καλύτερα χρώματα λόγω σένσορα. Εάν το δεις δε από κινητό θα απολαύσεις την ζωντάνια των χρωμάτων!!! Όσο και να φαίνεται περίεργο με πήρε 24+ ώρες το editing κυρίως λόγω εύρεσης και μονταρίσματος της μουσικής 🙂. Δεν φανταζόμουν ότι θα μπορούσε να βγει ένα τόσο ωραίο συνολικό αποτέλεσμα σε αυτό το βίντεο με ένα τόσο μεγάλο ποσοστό φωτογραφιών ενσωματωμένο. Εντυπωσιασμένος.
Excellent video. This line is a natural and engineering treasure. To me, it is a travesty that it has been bypassed to save a few minutes travel time with a lousy tunnel. The galleries or sheds in the vicinity of the Asopos bridge are there to protect against rockfalls, I presume. I have ridden through similar structures on the former Southern Pacific and Great Northern lines in the Sierra, Cascade and Rocky Mountain ranges in the western US, although those are mostly to protect against avalanches. is there much snow to contend with in this area of Greece?

I really enjoy your videos. Very steady and clear. I am American born, but all four of my grandparents emigrated to the USA in the years between 1916 and 1934. I learned Greek from my grandparents and parents and can speak it fairly well, and at the age of 66 I'm slowly trying to teach myself to read and write it. I had no formal schooling at all in Greek. I have a few questions. I hope you can enlighten me. If the A304 was resting (and rusting) in Amfikleia and was taken west to Bralos for preservation, how did it wind up at Lianokladi to come east again to Bralos? Was that a planned excursion as one last mainline adventure? Who is going to do the cosmetic restoration of the locomotive, train enthusiasts from all walks of life, or present and/or retired railway workers? Is there regular passenger service over the original mountain pass between Tithoria and Lianokladi? I may be visiting Greece next year and I want to travel over this historic section. I don't like modern electric trains and I have no interest whatsoever in riding like a rat through a long, dark tunnel and missing all the beautiful scenery. Hi Nick! Thank you so much for your nice comments about my videos 🙂 You are welcome! The engine did the round trip (north to Lianokladi and back to Bralos) in order for her front to face the south for better view. So far there is no restoration because of the lack of funds. Even with volunteering work from train fans and local technicians is not enough. Even if this line is not characterized as an inactive one there is no service yet. I advice you before you plan a trip there to let me know. The old line from Lianokladi to Domokos is closed and deserted. I was lucky to make a (historic) cab ride before it's closed here in my channel. I am very happy to answer any questions from our friends living abroad and who knows... one day we may meet each other!
@@sidirodromeas Thank you for the additional information. Now I understand. The nearest place to turn the locomotive was at Lianokladi. What do they call that track arrangement in Greece? In the US we call it a "wye", but in Britain it's a "triangle". We would say "They turned the engine on the wye at Lianokladi" or it can be used as a verb in railroad jargon, as in, "They wyed the engine at Lianokladi". Do they call the principle members of the train crew the Guard and the Driver? In the US we say Conductor and Engineer.
