I'm so glad that with the advent of the podcast, and explosion of RU-vid, that young black athletes get more screen time. The main reason is that MOST black Americans sound and act more like Allison Felix, Athing Mu, Sydney McLaughlin, in their everyday lives. For many decades it's always been portrayed that we all sounded like characters from The Wire or Snoop Dogg. Most black people are NORMAL, and these athletes are not "the exception," they are how we sound in most cases.
This was some of the MOST non-committal interview I've seen. They're clearly just hired guns who care little about A&M so much so the interviewers had to guide them in what to say.
@@wokemanishboi5003 - that’s your biased take. I’ll give you that these two kids are not the greatest interviewers, but we all start somewhere and they are doing their best. Another point before I move onto the main issue is that these guys are young freshmen. Jimbo typically does not allow true freshmen to be interviewed by mainstream media until they are ‘ready’. Sitting in a studio and in front of cameras is part of that training process. They will watch this again and receive feedback on their media performance. Consider it a classroom activity of sorts. These young men will play in the NFL and need this training. However, on to the larger point: Part of NIL is to give these young men media exposure and limelight attention. Assuming they play up to their expectations down the road, then exposure to the fan base helps increase their notoriety and potential earnings. Leaving them in a closet behind closed doors is the next choice and we both know that’s a poor decision these days. Peace brother
They obviously were referring to Alabama and LSU bringing girls around, probably prostitutes or girls who would act like prostitutes. It was beyond obvious, because what else could they be referring to?
