That is incredible! And that was a lot of money back then. I had family members that paid $10/month for rent, $20/month mortgage payments, and 3 year mortgages! Those were the good ol’ days!
Times surely have changed, in 1958 we bought a 3 bedroom home on Jacks Lane in Sacramento, $ 12.500 VA 30 year, $ 56.00 per month. Saw where it recently sold for nearly $ 400.000, crazy 😜
I have been thinking about moving to Roseville at times , people told me it's friendlier than the Conejo Valley and not a commuter town where it's tough getting to know people

I found your video to be misleading. After living in Davis for over 10 years, I moved because of the cost of living. You said the unemployment rate was 3.9%, but what about the vast number of people who are under-employed living on a shoe string? The community feel was great, but if you don't want to drink the Kool-Aid, you're pretty much out-of-luck. And yes, it's close to Sacramento and the Bay Area, but who wants to sit in grid-lock traffic? Just my 2 cents and honest feed back
Thank you for your feedback, Jane. I realize there are those extremes in every community you mentioned. My goal is to give the viewer enough information and then allow them to research the community thoroughly for what they are needing in it prior to moving to it. Not everyone can afford to live in Davis or other high-priced communities. There are certainly pros and cons to every community. Where did you end up moving to?

Hi Balraj, According to Niche.com at www.niche.com/places-to-live/yuba-city-sutter-ca/, Yuba City has a C grade for crime rate which is about average. I lived there for 5 years and never had any trouble. I really liked living there! Please let me know if I can answer anymore questions or be of help to you in moving to Yuba City!
Hello and thanks for your efforts in making this video. I am outside the country but i am seriously thinking to move to this town as my future wife will settle there but i have few questions : Is is affordable place for living? We all know that California is the most expensive state in the country but it will remain a lovely and goldy state in my opinion despite its enormous challanges. Now regarding Roseville: Is it expensive in general basis ? I guess it can be cheaper than major cities like Los Angeles or San Francisco. Is it also safe place? I guess safer than many big cities like Los Angeles or Detroit or Chicago and have less pollution as i am a very pro environment guy. Is it easy to find jobs ? Thanks in advanced for any answer you can provide to me. God bless you
Hello Ghassan, thank you for your comment about my Roseville video! I would say for a California city, Roseville is one of the nicer cities to live in. I am attaching a link to some data about Roseville www.niche.com/places-to-live/roseville-placer-ca/. I meet a lot of people who live in Roseville and they absolutely love it! The housing is less expensive compared to other places in the Greater Sacramento area such as Rocklin, Folsom, Davis, and Granite Bay and about half the cost of housing in Los Angeles or San Francisco. The people I talk to say they feel safe llving there and it's known for it's excellent A rated school system. It's a very diverse city with a lot of cultural influence. It also has excellent job opportunites either there or in cities nearby such as Sacramento or Rocklin. As you can see from the website I sent, the crime rate is pretty average, and a lot better than other places by far. Roseville's air quality is generally considered “good” according to the Air Quality Index (AQI) measurement used by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The weather in this area is fabulous and there are many places to explore in nature. Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I can be of help to you as you consider your move to Roseville, CA :) When are you planning to move here?
Thanks a lot for the comment as you truly answered every question in my mind. I will check the link you sent to me. I concluded that Roseville is one of the lovliest places for living in California. Definitely there is no place in the world which is 100% perfect. Only the kindgdom of God is perfect for sure . What i found unique in Roseville is its excellent weather as you dont need to wake up early at morning and find your car covered with snow to start shoveling hard while preparing to go to work. It also have lovely mountains and forests rather than being flat or desert waisted land. The only places i am familiar in California are Fontana and Ontario which i visited when i was 13 years old boy long ago. I went to visit my late uncle who lived there and i had wonderful time even though it can be labeled as an average town. I remember while the plane was departing from Ontario airport i could see behind me all the places i went to in a flash including the places where i cycled with my cousin then i could see San Gabriella Mountains which overlooks Ontario. Sweet childhood memories. HoweveI bet Roseville is much nicer and cooler ! Thanks again for your time . If i had additional questions, i will be honored to check with you. Hugs and love from Lebanon @@suburbsofsacramento6990
Hi Ghassan, You are correct that the kingdom of God is the most perfect place to live! However, northern California is quite lovely and at the same time, quite different than southern California. I'm glad you had a good time in California with your late uncle when you were 13 years old and left with some wonderful memories. I was curious where you were from! Glad to know you are from Lebanon and saw my video! We will pray that God will lead you to the place of His choosing! Blessings to you and your future wife - Carla
I heard of heard of heavy blizzard and snowstorms across Northern California. Hope it is safe around you dear friend. Stay safe@@suburbsofsacramento6990
My grandparents used to live in Yuba City and they enjoyed it however they had issues with the burning of orchards right by their house. For me, I enjoyed going to their place and was fascinated by the route we would go to get there. Occasionally if my family and I drive through Yuba City we would stop right next to their old house and observe the neighborhood to see what looks the same and what looks different. The main difference we recognize is the redwood trees have gotten taller. Lol 😆
Hi Matthew - Unfortunately, the burning orchards are still an issue that Sutter county still allows. Butte County put a stop to it. It is fun to go back and reminisce about our growing up years in visiting our relatives! Thanks for the comment!
@@suburbsofsacramento6990 oh I see… yeah they used to live off of N Township Rd on one of the short cul de sacs less than a mile north of Highway 20 next to the orchards. I’m sure you’re familiar with that spot of the city. Wishing you a wonderful day filled with blessings! 😁
