They are clearly upmarket commorative souvenirs of the Markle 2018 wedding. Likely next to worthless considering the general international hatred of the couple.
@donnaatelley Wrong.. Before Elizabeth the 2nd died Charles was the Prince of Wales. Before marriage, Charles' sons, William and Harry have also held versions of that title. Harry's full title was His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and William used the same format until he was given the formal title His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge when he married Kate Middleton. After Harry married he was given the title the Duke of Sussex by the Queen. It's complicated but that is the explanation of why Harry is being called the Prince of Wales on these items.
.... Harry/Henry is NOT the price of Wales. At the time he married markle, his dad Charles was the Prince of Wales... so thinking price of wales is bestowed to the recipient of the glass ware but, apparently, they didn't care about it.
WRONG! Before Charles’s ascension the throne, yes. Even if he was The Duke of Sussex, he was still Prince Henry of Wales...google it...www.businessinsider.com/why-is-harry-called-prince-of-wales-not-england-2018-5
Except his name isn’t Henry. Perhaps that’s why they were found in a junk pile and their worth would be a buck each, maybe 5 since they’re crystal but the etching is misspelled so they are worthless

No idea who commissioned these items but whoever did made a colossal mistake. Harry was never the Prince of Wales. The title of Prince of Wales always goes to the eldest son of the current Monarch. Charles was POW when Elizabeth was alive and then when Charles became monarch his eldest son William became POW.

And how do you know what wedding gifts they received. Boy someone at the palace is hell bent on destroying these two. Just happened to know what they received and where to find it in NYC? Really?
Definitely worth a research into the royal wedding gifts- I remember seeing a few things, like the program or order of service. You could hit up,here on RU-vid or reach out another way to some other royalist fans- or even channels like bookworm, Celt news, aacording2tas or even Lady c herself- she will definitely know the gift list 💯 Any other marks or brands on the boxes? The royals do have a gift collection- an official line, they have a website.
These aren’t gifts to them nor were they gifts to their guests. These are tourist souvenirs, good quality but nothing more than that, hundreds if not thousands will have been made.
Agreed but i finally heard from the company as to why these theses where made..and no-one has guessed why. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KC6nShB2D1Y.html
MISTAKE in the title: Prince Henry is not now and has never been "Prince Henry of Wales". His elder brother became Prince William of Wales after their father became king, long after they married. Prince Henry will never be anything "of Wales". He was named Duke of Sussex after they got married. So someone made a mistake and these are "seconds". The title is completely wrong. But it has some sort of appeal because it's a mistake.
Because they say Prince Henry instead of Prince Harry, I believe there was a mess up, which is why they weren’t used at the wedding. I don’t think anybody would give them a gift or Prince Harry’s name was misspelled nor do I think that they would give a gift to guest his name is misspelled
Now that I have read through the comments and realized that they are comparative commemorative merch I will say that they were at that flea market due to the fact that the name was misspelled because nobody would even want commemorative merchandise that has the wrong name on it so it makes it considerably worth less than it would be if the name was proper
@yorkie75 Wrong not worthless tourist junk..i heard from the company that made them...and its surprising .ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KC6nShB2D1Y.html
@@billyleroy2465 royal wedding memorabilia comes in all shapes and sizes and price ranges, these are some of the more “exclusive” pieces with a hefty price tag but there were several other companies offering very similar pieces at the time of the wedding. As with every other royal wedding everyone was out to make a quick buck
@heatherschutte its not a fake and its not tourist junk...here is the response from the company that made them ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KC6nShB2D1Y.html
Weird they both are my cousins, distant of course like the 8th and something removed. Diana is also my cousin, I ask ya where the heck is my crown? I'm still trying to figure who my furthest back relative is, got to 993 or something like that. My many great grandparents are entombed in a church, somewhere in England.
@redwoods ..I finally heard from the manufacture...why they were made and its not tourist junk... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KC6nShB2D1Y.html
