Oh Mike. Glad you went straight down to reception. I'd be requesting a new room with a joint inspection to make sure it's been cleaned. Consider telling them you want a room to rent for the night, not by the hour. LOL
We stayed there 2015. There was no water in the shower for first day until they fixed it and the same used room service trays sat outside peoples rooms for 2 days. Seems nothing has changed. Not sure how they have the nerve to charge a “resort fee” on top either!
As a Belgian I knew about this song for decades. I don't know why but it still find it special that so many meaningful things are known outside the USA about the USA that are unknown in the USA. Then again, I shouldn't be surprised anymore seeing that songs like 'We Were All Wounded at Wounded Knee' was a hit in Europe while to this day in the USA it's hardly known. FYI, keep in mind that lynchings aren't a thing of the past. They have happened not only during your parents life time but even during your life time the 'gallant' South still loves to take it out on the black community.
The charisma is off the charts. I’ve told people if you’re gonna watch this video you need to keep your eyes on the screen because his interaction with the audience is a huge part of his success.
Weird they came in a Coles bag, as we don't have Coles in New Zealand. If you got that Whittakers chocolate from Australia, it's not the same. They add an ingredient to theirs to raise the chocolates melting point (to handle their hotter climate), however it also reduces the 'melt in your mouth' experience. So, if that Chocolate was sourced from Australia, get some from NZ and try again.
As a kid I was always fascinated with foods from other countries and really wanted to try them. As an adult now they are increasingly more available. American, European, Asian foods are more and more available and each time I try them I'm often disappointed. I genuinely expected these to be so much better due to all the hype but I'm at the point now I think we Aussies have the best confectionery and drinks.
And people wonder why my generation of Australians have the sense of humor that we do lol. These bloopers never made it to air but going back and looking at some of the stuff that did.....yeah.....i can only imagine the pearl clutching and karen strokes there would be if anything like this was to be aired for kids today
