the pump is excellent but after a year the pressure on the hot water was gone. the cold line creates pressure and the hot line does not work and goes by gravity
Hi Thanks for the video, I was wondering if I can fit this to a aditional bathroom to increase the pressure. I already have a combi but pressure drops when two showers are in use. Please let me know. Many thanks.
Hey only 6 years later , mine is making a loud water flow noise , is it just a case of unscrewing it and seeing if it needs cleaning / emptying , can you recommend a chemical to put in there ?
So the zinc is desintegrating inside the tube that carries your drinking water? That means you will be drinking it day by day? Is that healty? And where does the lime go?
Just recently one morning there was a problem with the water in our area and all our neighbours had water flow of under 3l/min. I was totally unaware as I turned on my shower, the pump boosted up and I went off to work. There was a leaflet off UU in my letterbox apologising for the water mains issue. I just shrugged and smiled at my neighbours who all said their showers didn't work for hours.
I have been watching your channel for a long time, I have baxi solo 2 pf the overheat lamp lights up and he does not want to turn on thanks for any help
I wish these pumps were available here in Canada. Sadly, the 15mm and 22mm outputs equate to 5/8" and 7/8" here. Our standard fittings are 1/2", 3/4", and 1". I won't trust a Gundfos and the Esybox mini is way too expensive. Hmph.
Jesus get on with it not arsed about the weight and how sexy it looks how about showing a video on it or is this all your good a waffling about shit what a waist of time dont give up your day job . How much did salamander pay you to talk crap 🙄
Hmm. I find it weird you didn't know that clip was clearly for a tape measure but you're very very positive about the bag. I think it looks like a great bag too but I think you got a little something for the positive review lol
I had one of these installed only one year ago but it has started to be temperamental. It takes about 3-10 minutes of running the shower for the pump to kick in. Any idea why this might be?
i am in the same boat. one thing i tried that you might try also is to clean the filters - there are two - one in each input. it’s easy to do yourself. there is a youtube video showing you how to do it, so it’s just a search away....
Hi I have a salamander ct75 already installed which is 6yrs old and I intend to replaced with the same there website days do not run dry .My question is if I just replaced pump and turn off electric plug.then run through the pump shower head the hot and cold water would that be sufficient Prime the pump
Hi Bill, this is something to have a chat with Salamander about directly. The team will be the best people to advise you in regards to your query. Contact: www.salamanderpumps.co.uk/contact.php
Hi there, nice video about the pump. Looks like a good pump. I am having trouble with one though. Can never get a hot shower. Only warm. Seems like the cold is overriding the hot. The bath/shower tap assembly has individual taps for hot and cold which mixes and comes out from the same tap outlet. What would you suggest to check or do? Also if I turn on the hot only on it doesnt activate the pump. Maybe its to do with the feature you mention about safety. The pump is also connected to the bathroom sink. Is this normal? Thanks
Hi Andy Thanks for asking! Yes you can add F4 via the System Filter. As it is basically just a dosing pot, any fluid can be introduced through it. Hope this helps you sort out your leak!
Hi there Olan Deane Thanks for watching & taking the time to comment! Actually we aren’t completely certain but we think it’s some type of security chain. We’ll contact the local rep & find out for you.
Hi Paul Yes of course that would work but most inhibitors have a mild antifreeze agent in them already. However if you live in a very cold environment then you can buy a dedicated central heating antifreeze, Fernox make one that’s easily available. Hope that helps!
Hi JT Yes it does, you can see it laying in the bottom! It’s an excellent product & available from stock. Simply contact our head office on 01908 371084 to place an order, we dispatch same day.
I do not believe there is a priority for the cold water supply. There is a float switch in each line and either will trigger the pump if the flow is > 1 ltr in 30 secs
whitefields5595 hi there! Thanks for the interest & taking the time to comment. We mentioned the cold water supply for safety but yes you are right, there is a switch on both hot & cold.
As an installer of these pumps I would always advise spending the extra money and buy the models with brass impellers at each side as these models are much sturdier and are a lot quieter than the plastic impeller models , also it is very important to flush any newly soldered pipe work that is feeding the pump before you connect it up , once you have connected it to the pipes you must undo the outlet pipe and purge any trapped air otherwise the pump will be extremely noisy and will overheat and breakdown.......if you follow this procedure you will have a trouble free installation ....
yensabi That’s excellent advice! Thanks for taking the time to comment. A careful installation will not only help to prevent instant issues but prolong the life of the pump.
So it really is this easy? I just moved in a kinda large house where about half of the radiators (7) aren't working at all and the rest are working kinda lazy... So if I put this cleanser in the system it will loosen the crud? I suppose I should already have some kind of a filter installed while putting the cleanser in so the sludge don't just circle around the system?
Duck Man hello & thanks for your comment! Not sure what you mean by ‘neutralising’, that’s more a term we use to describe chemical additives, in heating systems for example This unit is designed to reduce build up of scale deposits by using an electrolytic process. Thanks for watching the channel! P.S. We like your user name!
