After watching the whole video l'm not sure what your objective was. I understand taking apart a non-working version of the camera but to ruin a piece of technological and photographic history seems wreckless. At the sametime, it was somewhat informative as I have the same camera in pristine condition and was intrigued to see whar's inside but unfortunately your lack of knowledge did mot assist me in the least. If nothing else, you learned that if a camera has a flash, it also has a large and sometimes very powerful capacitor. Entertaining video all the same, just try to limit disassembly to non-working items with no historical value.

Hey! I’m actually not sure if they make it anymore. If so, I don’t recommend it anymore, but I would definitely look at getting an AIO fpv camera with the correct connector. Some do also allow you to save video still but some of the cheapest are around $17 usd. Best of luck!
wow kid, what did you do to make everyone hate you? 22 up and 22 down votes. the video wasnt even that bad. i had to upvote to swing it to the positive side. imo, the best and most underrated thing to have packed outdoors is the survival whistle. there are several on thingiverse. some great, some complete garbage. other than that, i cant say there are really any "useful" outdoor gear prints. ive done a few things like a stand for stove butane canisters, but nothing that you cant live without.

rapcity cardwell I haven’t done enough research to know the specs on the rx200, but I know the e300 has a top speed of 15mph. You can probably find the top speed through a quick google search. Good luck!
I definitely didn’t take it as rude - I know Razor is well known, but I also know that some of their products aren’t the highest quality. I should’ve rephrased it. It’s definitely nice to hear other opinions about Razor products though!
If you still have the stuff laying around I would give you something for the 3 cables that were in the front pouch. I wouldn't mind having the double D power cable that goes to the charger as well. DM me and let me know.

Raymond Vazquez Ah, okay. I had the same problem. There is a chance that you won’t be able to connect it to your pc, but first I would try to make sure the drivers are correctly installed. When you plug in a new device, you should see a little icon popup next to your volume and time. If you click on it, you can check and see if all of the drivers installed correctly. If you still have problems, I would try doing some searches on Octoprint. It’s a wireless software that uses a raspberry pi and some free code. It may be a better route for you than directly connecting it to your pc. I look forward to hearing how it worked out!
This is kinda exactly what I’m planning to do Im in the same Situation i own a good drone but the camera is wifi operating( super bad range) That’s a lot for this helpful video
You can attach almost any small/lightweight camera. This drone won't carry a GoPro though. If you are interested in attaching that type of camera, you would want to go with a brushless motor drone.
If you're going up a large hill or doing something that may put a lot of strian on the motor, there's a switch that'll turn everything off. If that happens, hop off, turn it off, press the reset switch a few time, then turn it back on. There should be a section about it in your user manual. Good luck!
Hi, I would be greateful if you could reply. I just bought the visuo xs812 and looking to upgrade the camera. Options as I understand it are 1.the fpv camera on your video or 2.an external attached one like firefly. My question is what is the specs (resolution, fps etc) of your camera and whether it is considerably better than the visuo one, also how do you control the drone with that camera? Does it come with its own remote control? And can you use the remote to view what the drones sees and take photos/videos? Any side effects of this upgrade eg battery drains much faster or drone more difficult to fly? Shall I buy this specific camera on your vlog or I can find any on ebay that is similar with 3 pins etc? How this camera compares with firefly? I like how the visuo flies but again as I'm new I'm open to reconsider for a better foldable one of a similar price if I have to I can return the visuo and get one similarly easy to fly but with decent camera so i can avoid camera upgrades. Sorry for the delay. I know that the Visuo drone in this video worked well for me, but for a limited time. Many of the toy drones that come with an included FPV system use a wifi camera. That's what I removed from this drone to make room for an actual analog camera that transmits on 5.8 GHz. With a 5.8 GHz camera, you are able to get a much more real-time transmission with minimal delay or latency. Since this drone is a brushed motor powered quad, it can't lift a lot, maybe a couple of grams. Camera's such as this tinyurl.com/AIO-camera add 4 grams and work extremely well for the price. A quick adapter can be made to allow it to fit in the 3 pin JST 1.25mm socket. This will only give you a live feed and nothing else. If you want a camera that can record the FPV, you will need something like this: tinyurl.com/recordFPV. I have not tested this method out, but it looks like that this could be a good solution to your problem. The red and black wires supply power to the camera while the yellow wire is a signal wire to tell the camera what to do. I am assuming that if you plug this camera in, you should be able to use the included photo button on the controller to signal the camera to record. Again, I can not guarantee this, it's just what I believe to be a good solution. As for the firefly, I am not sure which one you are refering to, but I believe this is it: tinyurl.com/fireflymicrocam. This camera may work, but again, it is 31g. I have not tested the drone extensively, but I do not believe it will fly well with this on it. As for all of these, you will experience some battery drain, but each one will most likely differ. My last recommendation for you is that you learn to fly this drone how it is, and once you feel comfortable with that, buy a drone with brushless motors and a FPV camera that can record in HD. @@techex8383 Thanks a million for the reply, super helpful. I think for this type of drone it's really confusing to try upgrading the camera. I mean in the end of the day the battery will pay for it !! So I've ordered the Firefly Q6 and once I test it I will definitely provide some suggestions. I've however already tested the XS812 with a mini spy camera (PiAEK Mini Hidden cube camera), once attached at the top and another time attached below the drone and was still flying sweet and smooth (and high). There was even slightly windy day but could still hold remarkably still (not fully but great for the price). I have to admit this drone flies well for its price (despite it's missing the so much helpful feature of obstacle detection) so hopefully with the firefly q6 it will be a cheap but good compromise.
@@techex8383 As promised here is my reply after having tried "wearing" the Firefly Q6 to the XS812. I'm impressed with the outcome for the price. The drone cost me £60 (3 batteries included) and another £40 for the camera which is also 4K. The drone could fly really well like it didn't bother for that tiny extra weight. Quite stable on a breeze but obviously starts to lose balance on a windy day. Still, it works perfectly for me as I'm not going to use it for drone racing or extreme cases although I wish I could take it to my next trip to Iceland :) Now I have FHD videos in 60fps although I don't remotely control the camera so have to start recording before taking off then stop it once it lands but still fine with me for that price. I can do some video editing and cut out the bad parts. I still have many hours to fly with it until it is time to upgrade and get a proper one once budget allows :)
If it has the same connectors, then most likely yes. You also have to take into account that this drone is powered by brushed motors which means that they can barely lift this camera.
It's all a matter of perspective. When you are on it, it feels decently fast, but when you are in a car, it feels much slower. The max speed is 15mph on flat ground.
I don't think you would have too much trouble doing so. You just need to remove the light cover (2 screws), then remove the light, then unplug the 2-pin connector from the main board. After that, gently pull the old light wire out, and feed in/ plug in the new light. Replace the cover and you should be good to go! Let me know if you run into any other problems, and I'll try to help.
Ok, thank you. I'll order the lights. It does not seem to be affecting anything else,. This happened after some seagulls attacked it and it fell to the ground.
Broke an arm on my Bugs 3. It was easy to fix with regular superglue. I just used a couple of tack spots to start with to hold it in place. Over the next few days I added a little more glue into the crack and built it up really slowly. If you take the time to add just a little glue at a time , and leave a full day drying time between each application, it works really well. I expected the superglue to melt the plastic. Perhaps it might have melted if I had applied a lot of glue in one application. Thumbs up for your informative video, fortunately I didn't have to buy a new shell and strip the internals out.
