Say what you will about Russ Meyer, but this is one of the coolest openings to a movie I've seen, with the jazzy music as background, and a preacher right in the middle of the road in a long trenchcoat!
Still one of my favorite all-time songs. The drums kick in and my head starts banging involuntarily. The way John sings "She's got a mind like a steel trap", and the latter half of the "solo"/bridge, always make the hair on the back of my neck stand up without fail. I can't get enough.

I still consider it underrated, so what if malcolm is over the top if de Niro had played the part the same way he probably would have got a fucking oscar nomination but because it's a British actor (and a damn good one) everyone says he ruins the film. and it's about time it was available on dvd in britain
Am I the only one who actually think this scene is funny? Mal is so good in this more mediocre film. Every fan of Malcolm should watch this film because it's a joy to see him in this (even if he is really sadistic and mean).
