Started off our travels with Starwood Hotels back in 2013 and now expanding into more other hotel chains and other branded properties. Most of our travels are based on the hotels in the Marriott International brands. We have now stayed and reviews in more than 150 properties throughout the years. Wanted to see where besides Instagram we can share our experience.
Living the #marriottbonvoy life. But we are now expanding beyond Marriott. And so far we are loving what we experienced.

We just simply asked during checked in and also checked on Marriott’s app. There were no more room during our stay as it was also the F1 season when we were there.
May I know if you happen to be an Marriott Bonvoy ambassador? coz I just checked in today as a titanium member, got no room upgrade or welcome platters etc at all 😂😂 hahaha
Hey, nope. We are titanium too! Lost our ambassador since the spending was introduced. I’m sorry to hear that. I wonder what was the discrepancy. Some of my friends who has lower status does get welcome amenities too and some doesn’t.
@@ericandleonardexploreshotels probably it was a busy day as it was the last day of 2023....i encountered quite some other hiccups which were far more annoying than no upgrade or welcome platters etc haha. alr shared feedback with hotel mgt and they handled pretty well.
Hope that it is a hiccup and not a rule.. but I get it.. during our stay, no one told us about the credit that our status gets until the day we were checking out.. they gotta be more consistent..
Upgrades are usually subject to availability... If they are not overbooked and could accommodate all bookings, they wont accord any upgrade. Or perhaps they are just full. When I travel, I do not hope for any upgrade. If I do get upgraded, its a blessing. If not, be thankful they could assign a room of your choice.

It was all done by the hotel. We have no idea if it could be requested. It was a surprise to us too. But I’m sure you could try asking the staff. It wouldn’t hurt to ask.
