Nothing super special....MCS 2 way non remote, ground control front anti-roll bar, no rear bar installed, lots of negative camber. Thanks for the props!
@@johndefini3732 Nice.... that thing looks so dialed in. You've got so much pace with it (1:08's!) and it appears relatively "effortless" at the same time. Just very smooth overall. 👍
@jfritz7000 thanks man, the car is setup really well. 1:08 and I missed apex on T7 a few times! My AiM said my theoretical best was 1:07.3. If I throw brand new tires on rather than my scrubs I'm thinking 1:06s.
@@johndefini3732 That's just nuts -- keep showing those newer P cars who's boss in your 20 yr old E46! Hah. What orgs do you typically run with at NJMP? Any chance you'll be there May 24/25 with PCA?
@jfritz7000 I run primarily with NNJR PCA, Chin, HOD, and TrackXperienz. I unfortunately will not be at t-bolt with NNJR end of May cause I'll be at ViR with chin. I ran the new repave at T-bolt, I got a video on my channel :)
Took me 2 attempts, but got it done. I was underneath on my back with my eyes closed aligning the shaft with one hand while aligning the fork on the other side. Don’t use Gorilla tape lol!!!. You video was super helpful!
You RU-vid videographers you need to get a second person to hold your phone or the GoPro while you’re trying to do your demonstration it’s very hard to show how to do something when you’re trying to hold a camera and do the work you’re trying to do or if you can’t get a person put your camera on a tripod it would make it a match easier job for you to show mechanical work if you’re not trying to hold the camera and do it at the same time
At the time of this video it was 5spd zf trans mission with a oem rear differential (oem lsd too). Remember the 5 and 6 spds have the same gear ratios as 6spd just missing the 6th gear. We swap the trans for weight savings not gear ratios. Now the car has a 4.10 rear , cams, intake and tune. I'll be at RAtl this coming weekend. We'll see how the times differ
@@johndefini3732 Than you! Then it is/was very close to my e36, s54 with a 3.64 diff. I am working on installation of a DCT and there are a few ratios to choose from. Be safe, drive it like you stole it!
Bimmerworld race with custom Soul Performance fabricated rear section, basically a straight pipe with the tiniest resonator imaginable. Suppersprint headers
@@johndefini3732 not sure if you did it was going to ask how. but iv been reading up it needs to be bench flashed and only certain model abs can be done. want to fit abs to our e36
Igot this from a buddy of mine......."People can be talking about one of two things. Any E46 M3 MK60 unit can be recalibrated to match the CSL parameters. There are also a subset of MK60 units that can be used for Race ABS applications which requires a bench flash of a map specifically set to your chassis. Any ZCP/CSL unit can accept the Race ABS programming and any E46 M3 MK60 who's computer number ends in 813.3 can also. Please see below how to tell the difference and note that BMW does not consider the 818.3 and 813.3 units to be different part numbers. So you'll need to see the exact unit you're buying to be sure."
Channel settings....function: voltage, generic 0-5v, sampling frequency 2hz, no decimal I have an icon on my MXP that displays when voltage for this sensor is greater than 3v
@@johndefini3732 Awesome, thanks. I'm experimenting with a digital status - just so it gets logged as 0 or 1 in the data. I'll let you know if it works or not!
Please explain more about the pigtail. I have a motec m150 that I want the abs light to work with. I have had it to an led light before but I don’t remember how it was wired.
Yes, it was my last session when I was running with a destroyed left front wheel bearing (might have been open track actually). I came in early as it was starting to sound really bad, plus I was having oil temp issues. Decided to call it quits.
@@johndefini3732 I was in the Alfa 4C… your time is a mere 8 seconds faster than mine … nice driving brother - especially with that disaster waiting to happen at the hub.
Thanks for documenting this looks like a PITA. Perhaps I'll masking tape and then duct tape over it for strength? Just upgraded my 997.1TT to a stage 2 tune and EP-2 exhaust the stock clutch doesn't like the extra torque. So shopping for a replacement and effort involved. may just go back to stage one after watching this. Indy wants $4K for a stock clutch and coolant line pinning.
