I think so. Season 2 of D4DJ didn't do as well as MyGO (suprisingly popular in China), sales for Groovy Mix were lower than SIF2 (a dead game), and not many people are watching the videos on their channel/streaming their songs. They handed the entire thing to Donuts and people are split between "they're free" and "it's all over." But like I said, time will tell, so give it a year or two to see if they're still here or not.
Here are my ratings and prefers of this cover comparison, note, this is my opinion and I'm being honest. Both Argonavis and D4DJ have some good covers. Unravel (RONDO) - Honestly, I prefer the RONDO cover more. Tsubaki's voice sounds so full of power when she sings high, it's like she's full of enraged power to sing. The Epilson version, ...eh, don't like it. Though I don't like epilson that much since their songs kinda suck, so I prefer RONDO. Hot Limit (Fujin RIZING) - I think both sounds nice, but I like the FUJIN RIZING one better since I like how it sounds. It even sounds/fits better as well, Photon maiden's version is a bit to ehh, I have no way to like it even though I listened to it a bunch of time. Still, Photon's sounds too boring. Anti Clockwise (Peaky P Key) - Like I said, I don't like Epilson, So I prefer Peaky's version. Plus, I like Yuka's voice (If that was her voice idk lol), Shu's voice is too boring. Loved how the peaky p key members were singing this song. READY STEADY GO (Argonavis and PM) - Honestly, I love both of them. I pretty much don't have anything to say about them, although, both sound good actually, Even though I don't like photon that much. *Asterisk (Argonavis and Merm4id) - Same for this one, I love both of their versions too. I have nothing to say about these too, and I like how Merm4id version is a party beat, Rika letting out her inner party girl lol. GO! (Argonavis and Merm4id) - To be honest, I've never listened to this song a lot, nor I liked it. But, let's say they both sound better. Both sound nice even though I've never listened much to it. UNION (Argonavis and Peaky P Key) - I love both of them, and both sound nice, But Peaky P Key's version sounds a little bit better than Argonavis' version. Though, I love both versions! I'm quite a fan of Argonavis and Peaky P key, so I think I love both versions.
i’m gonna say my preferences here since i’m a bandori and prsk fan (no argonavis tho since i, sadly, don’t play it 😓) also, these are my own opinions!!! i love both games, so,,,no attacking me pls 😔 bring it on - bandori. layer’s voice is literally so nice and i like the deeper tone. also, anhane’s voices mesh badly with the kagamines’, so it sounds off. (and yes, ik this was one of the first covers, so the mixing isn’t as good as the more recent songs) roki - prsk. ichika’s voice is so pretty and smooth, and i like the original instrumentals for roki! happy synthesizer - bandori. as much as i ADORE pasuparu’s instrumentals, shizuharu’s voices sound amazing in mmj’s cover. buriki no dance - bandori. again, layer’s voice is so nice, and i prefer the more fast-paced instrumentals that RAS usually has. (it’s super close tho, because i love len’s tuning in wxs’ cover) charles - bandori. yukina’s voice sounds so good, and i actually love this more desperate rendition of the song. plus, roselia’s instrumentals are always just so powerful and amazing. asu no yozora shoukaihan - prsk(l/n). ichika’s voice is sooo pretty and smooth and i like the remastered instrumentals for l/n! hated by life itself - prsk. KANADE’S VOICE IS SO PRETTY!! i love how soft and pretty it is, and how she can convey so much emotion while still staying in her whispery tone. plus, i love the instrumentals that n25 has. dramaturgy - bandori. unpopular opinion maybe, but i love how kasumi and ran sound together here! kasumi’s higher and sweeter voice paired with ran’s lower and more powerful voice makes for some nice contrast! (akitoya’s cover is a close second though, they sound SO good in the archived version) renai saiban - prsk. i love how specifically minori sounds in mmj’s cover. i also generally prefer the original’s instrumentals. plus, miku’s tuned decently in this cover! senbonzakura - vocaloid ver. it’s a classic, and it’s also just so nostalgic-as amazing as a lot of covers of this song are, they can never really replace the original for me! miku miku ni shite ageru - vocaloid. again, it’s iconic, and the original will always hold a special place in my heart. (i love aya’s voice in pasuparu’s cover, tho!) yoru ni kakeru - prsk. kanade’s voice is so pretty and soft, and i prefer the instrumentals in n25’s version. king - bandori. roselia’s instrumentals are always amazing, and i like just how intense it sounds! (wxs is very close tho, because i love how their voices and the synth sound) romeo to cinderella - prsk. shizuairi’s voices are so pretty in this song, and i’ve always loved the og’s instrumentals. six trillion years - prsk. i actually like how ichika sounds a little rushed, because it matches the original’s tone a lot. i also love the percussion! lost one’s weeping - bandori. ran sound so emotional in this cover and i absolutely love it. (for l/n, i wish they had either not had ichika sing in such a high pitch, or had shiho sing a little louder, as ichika sorta drowns her out) venom - prsk. i love mizuena’s voices, and they sound so emotional and smooth! butterfly on your right shoulder - vocaloid. as much as i usually love roselia’s renditions of songs, this one in particular is a little too different from the original, which i adore. also, i love len’s voice lol karakuri pierrot - prsk. shizuharu’s voices, yet again being beautiful. also, miku’s tuning here sounds great!! i also just generally prefer the instrumentals, as it sounds more bittersweet. shoujo rei - prsk. SHIZUHARU STOP HAVING BEAUTIFUL VOICES CHALLENGE: IMPOSSIBLE. as you have seen, i love shizuharu, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise. odo - prsk. anhane sound amazing, and i also just generally prefer the original instrumentals. 1, 2 fanclub - prsk. i honestly prefer covers where it’s multiple people singing for this song lol. i even prefer hapiharo’s instrumentals-it’s just that i love how wxs sing together as a group here luka luka night fever - vocaloid. again-luka’s is the original, and imo, cannot be replaced. darling dance - bandori. harohapi’s instrumentals are amazing, and they really show off in this song! goodbye sengen - prsk. i love the nenekasa+emurui duos going on, they sound so good together. vampire - bandori. kasumi sounds so cute in popipa’s cover!! also, mmj sounds like,,,idk, strained? noushou sakuretsu girl - vocaloid. i love how dissonant(?) gumi and miku sound in the original! i also like the highter pitched vocals alien alien - prsk. tbh, i generally don’t like a lot of hapiharo’s covers,,,kokoro’s way of singing can be too childish(?) for my tastes, with the way she pronounces some words (I LOVE HER THO!!) amanojaku - bandori. ran’s voice is so powerful and emotional!! (l/n’s is a close second tho, i love how pretty they all sound together) phony - prsk. idk how to explain, i just rlly love how n25 sounds. the harmonies are also amazing. (also, the way mafuyu sounds so emotional!!) daybreak frontline - prsk. same reason as 1,2 fanclub-i love how they’re singing this one as a group-it makes me feel like i really am in a car with the windows down, watching the sunrise. also, miku sounds amazing here. shinkai shoujo - bandori. RUI WITH THE VIOLIN IN THE BACK AHHHH (it was actually really close, since i do love how mmj’s voices sound with miku-but yeah, morfonica’s instrumentals take the cake for me here) setsuna trip - bandori. this song sounds like it was literally made for popipa-and also kasumi. i love how happy and emotional she sounds in this cover. n e ways go stream all of the groups mentioned!!!
For the sake of expression. If the JP voice actors are expressive, then the English VAs have to match that same energy. If you wanna hear normal sounding voices, watch the Bandori English dub.

They completely ignore the subtlety and nuance in the voice acting of the original Japanese dub and instead do they generic, cookie cutter sing-song "anime voice" for EVERY single character. Listen to any English dub and the characters speak in the same speech pattern.

It's an exaggerated, standardized speech pattern you'll find only in anime English dubs, almost as if the primary purpose of it is to read the translated lines and cram them inside the time span of the original Japanese lines, instead of bothering with expressing subtle emotions and inflections.

I used to hate pastel palettes because they were considered the most professional of all the bands, even though they didn’t know how to play their instruments except Maya, but I’m a sucker for idols, so that hate for them changed to feeling bad for them; after reading their band story and event stories. Their agency seems to be screwing them over a bit. I like at the people behind Bandori trying to show the dark sides of the Idol world/entertainment industry. Because who in that stick-in team who came up with the idea for an idol band did not think Let’s Have the Girls lip sync was a bad idea? They’re lucky they got exposed during their debut because if they rolled like that the whole time, I suppose later, that was a different hell to deal with. Because one of them passed an audition, I mean, you probably had girls who could play instruments , but you know that’s the talent industry for you.
Aya can sing and dance because she spent years as a trainee, Eve used to play piano when she was in elementary school, and Hina is a genius, so she can master anything in an instant. The staff probably did this because Chisato had just started learning bass. Another example of staff interference is Eve’s Radio event, she wasn’t allowed to be her true self because the staff had prepared a script for her which backfired of course and left negative comments on social media. Of course it could be radio station staff instead of agency staff, but still. If the idols aren’t allowed to shine authentically, then what’s the point?

Yep, it’s like an alternative universe where Chu2 destroyed the GBP, but I imagined Nayuta (same last name as Rokka and from the Argonavis series back when it was still a part of BanG Dream) telling them that they’re not getting renewed.
Basically, never. The VAs for the men (except for Ryujin) stopped voicing for their characters around the end of the Side Nova stories in the game and only the master appeared in the anime.

If you're wondering about Artemis, only Airi appeared in Season 2 and they barely get any events at all. Here's a suggestion, demand an English dub for Season 2! My channel needs bilingual Maho (and other English VAs who know Japanese).
