Nice video bro. I have this engine in my son's rc drift car. Runs great when tuned properly but can definitely be a bit of a bitch to get there sometimes. I'm usually running 25-30% nitro fuel. It's definitely easier to hit that sweet spot with lower nitro fuel around 15-20%
Everyone wondering why your one way bearing slips? Simple it's a bad design. My hsp engine were the bearing is in the pullstart case is the best. They never slip. Got two rc cars with this exact design and they both started slipping on breaking. I ordered another bearing and same thing. Try avoid this design. Or order a drill starter.
I’ve found with my Ftx force .18 that the engine doesn’t need much priming and if the engine does flood (same with any nitro) just loosen off the glow plug and pull the pull start a few times the engine should feel loose on the start and tighten the glow plug before you start the engine again
No you won’t burn the glo plug if you leave Chanel 3 on you’ll being constantly sucking power from reciever pack and also have a false tune/ idle / top end
Can it handle a 3s setup? Theres a guy whos selling two of these (as new) for $100, but I want to install 3s setups on them. Since you mentioned theres a plastic spurgear in it (eww), do you know of any metal upgrade for it? Im not familiar with this brand at all…
Hi mate doing exactly this on the hpi f3.5 iv tried an alloy upgrade with supplied spring and genuine plastic hpi 2 shoe and spring and still will not disengage even on pulling the pull start it will spin the clutch bell let alone when it starts unstoppable or will stall, Shimmed properly and even tried swapping the shoes around in case they was installed wrong. All brand new first run of a new build and this is the only problem. Any help would be appreciated. 2 model shops in Birmingham overlooked the open set up today of purchasing the new genuine parts and nobody in 2 shops spotted an obvious mistake… have you ever came across this? Few mentions on forums about other cars doing it but none of the threads iv read have the solution.. just the obvious guesses shimming wrong etc
I have a revo 3.3 with the navorassi turbo engin maid for thr revo platinium but the teeth on the easy gear keeps braking off is their any other compleat back plate with the gears that mighy work i have 4 of these engines with the same broblem hope you can help me i 4 brand new navorsssi engines thanks for the advice in advance
when the road calls for you to have to shift up gears quickly in order to build speed... do u have to let the clutch all the way out fully, and then bring it all the way back in again, for the shift up into each subsequent individual higher gear?? Or can I bring clutch fully in, and then for example shift from second gear, through to third and then to fourth, all the while while holding the clutch in for that?
Not a good idea putting fuel into the cylinder head without cleaning the area around the glow plug. Dirt likes to collect there. Now you introduced dirt into the cylinder which can scar the cylinder wall. Just an fyi.
I have this "Auto Glower" too. It´s a really fine thing. But after only three or four starts, the glow plug doesn´t glow no more :( Now I don´t know, the "Auto Glower" is broken or could it be that it doesn´t work when the Accu gets to low in voltage. I press the glow button and the red LED lights up as usual, but the glow plug keeps cold (other plugs I tested, too) .... :(
I love the cart! But I loved its price more and I wonder if it is a good long-term investment? How long will the engine last without failing? Will there be parts for this buggy after 5 years on aliexpress? What is the quality of the servos and motors? I see many videos speaking highly of this car, fresh out of the box...but I would love to know if after 1 or 2 years of use, the stock engine, stock servos, gears without wear still work? The chassis is very similar to the redcat tornado and hsp 94106... greetings friend

😂I was looking into after run oils, and I found an oldie. You had me laughing so hard at end of a very long day. 13 yes I think it said. I really like the old videos people used to make, and the community comments. It's all changed so much. I guess some of it had to. Cause it'd get Raw😅 Anyhow don't even think you were trying to be funny, but it was perfect 😆 I can imagine you'd get pressure from a bunch to do this again. Heck maybe you are.
