Ukulele & More is all about the "jumping flea", which is the translation of the Polynesian term "ukulele" into English.
It would be nice if this channel could help to make access to music in general and the ukulele in particular easier. Because music is a great resource and the ukulele is a wonderfully versatile (usually four-stringed) instrument that can quickly lead to success and is guaranteed to be a lot of fun.
Until further notice, there will be a new video every day in which the ukulele will play a role. These will primarily be cover songs with ukulele accompaniment and pieces for solo ukulele, but reviews of instruments and/or other relevant gear are also conceivable. I will also be offering lessons in the future, but more on that later.
It's not impossible that other instruments such as guitar, piano, blues harp will be used from time to time. But let's be surprised ...
Constructive feedback is expressly welcome, as are numerous clicks on the subscribe button! ;-).
Thanks a lot for your encouraging comment that I appreciate a lot!😊🎶 By the way, I like your performances on your RU-vid channel too and therefore you've got a new subscriber! 🎸
Hulalal!! When I was a child I listened to this tune, singing to my Mother. Listening to it again transported us back to that distant past in time, when we were so happy with so little and sometimes nothing. Thank you for sharing with us!!
Hi Euben, thanks a lot for your comment about my cover of "Amazing Grace". I want to return the compliment! Your interpretation is very emotional and touching and I like your amazing voice! By the way, you’ve got a new subscriber!
Hey, this is awesome! I love what your doing man, keep it up! You probably already have a bunch of songs you plan on singing but if you could make time for a song I would really appreciate it, my grandpa taught my dad guitar when he was a teenager and one of the first songs my dad ended up learning was a version of one of charles mansons songs 'sick city', clearly he didnt know the songs origins but it ended up becoming a thing between them and now they play it almost every time we visit. I think they would get a good rise out of a ukulele cover. Anyway, obviously no hard feelings if not, and have a great day!
Hey, thanks a lot for your encouraging comment! Yes, I have already recorded a few songs for the next few days, but I would like to at least give “Sick City” a try. I basically know the story of Charles Manson, but I didn't know the song yet. I'll let you know when it's finished, but it probably won't be until next week! Until then, I wish you a good time!
