It always amazes me that people post videos of themselves doing illegal activities. This weather is below VFR minimums - FAR 103.23 Unsafe There's no way an airplane on an instrument approach would have a chance to avoid this person. (The aim point on the runway indicates there's an instrument approach to this runway) I do wonder if it's ignorance of rules or a disregard of them.
@@johnmichael5982 all new gear with training from Aviator PPG. 15,000 But you can shed a little off of that by buying a used motor. I would recommend a new wing and training. There are certifications you can get, but they are not required. Unless you fly tandem.
@@Rick-zs1rn not really sure on that one. I’ve heard of paragliders getting pulled up to 20+ thousand feet. They are flying in much different conditions than what we look for so if you’ve done your math on the weather, you shouldn’t have to worry about that this shot was takin at 12,300’ 8000’ above those clouds.
@@Dishcanfly I just started seeing your videos last night yesterday I think I'd like to try that someday looks very calming up there and that's what I need in my life right now
Man ive been wanting to get into this stuff since I found that one guy fly to mcdonalds on his years back lol. Ever since a kid ive loved the idea of going fast and flying haha. Would love to be up in the sky flying myself.
I saw that same guy do the same thing, and I thought to myself WTF he’s just a kid. Within two years after seeing that video, I flew to McDonald’s and got the best tasting Egg McMuffin I ever had. Aviator helped me get here. I will be eternally grateful to them, no matter what. Thanks Gillian, for teaching me the ways of the sky. I can’t believe I didn’t start doing this sooner, If you’re thinking about it, then save up and make it happen. IT WILL CHANGE YOUR WHOLE LIFE, Your focus in life and the way you look at it will change. If I’m wrong, feel free to blame me.
