This is exactly how her SynthV is supposed to sound; other people's covers make her sound less and less like Teto, but this one actually feels like her without being identical to her Utau VBs
Hey there. I’m a big fan of your vocal synth tuning. Lots of people who use Synth V like to depend exclusively on the automatic tuning feature, and it seems you're not doing that. You clearly know how natural vocals should sound, and I think that's awesome! I wanted to point something out about your mixing though. It seems you've got a bit too much high end going on in your EQ settings, and the vocals are a bit too loud preportionately to the instrumental track. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what’s happening with the EQ without being able to check out your effects chain directly, but if I had to guess, I think you may have boosted the 7-8KHZ range too much. I’m relatively new to mixing myself, but I’ve picked up a few tricks here and there. If you like, I’d be happy to give you some tips and show you the effects chain I’ve got going on. Just let me know if you're cool with that. As I said, I think your vocal synth tuning is amazing, and it's not too often I’m able to find good Vocaloid/Synth V producers nowadays.
@@Agohiza Yeah I get you. It's not really mine either, though I'm not as bad at mixing as I used to be. To be honest, part of that is thanks to Chat GPT. I know just enough about mixing to sort of kind of ask the right questions. I tell it what sound I'm trying to go for, it gives me tips, I take those tips and tweak them to my liking. It's not perfect of course, but I know how to compensate for its shortcomings. Put me in front of the Vocaloid 4 interface over a mixing console any day though. That being said, I'm happy to pass along what I know. My vocal preset is set up for Miku, but really I think it can work for any voice, human or otherwise. If you're using Reaper, I could probably send you my project template somehow. I also have a couple friends who use Ableton and Logic, so if you only have one of those, I could probably get them to reproduce my track stack and I could send that your way. Failing that, I could try to explain it, but I'm not that good at explaining things to people. I don't have a teacher brain - I have an, "I go over here and I do this," brain.

Is it possible to make a cover with this Neru set up with the free version of VSynth? Like... im not sure what the tone shifting by 100 centimeters means, not sure if thats a paid version thing Edit: okay so apparently the tone shift is a Pro exclusive... does that affect her voice that much, or is there another option I could do?
@Agohiza thank you sm!! I've been recently obsessed with Neru and was sad the "only" way I could do a cover is with Vocaloid and Rin, very expensive stuff But now I learned hey!! There's this singer on Vsynth that kinda sounds like Rin, so obviously she can sound like Neru I'm not really good with covers or tuning at all, but this was a great motivation to help me! I look forward to more Neru covers!! Would you recommend any easy songs to cover? I was trying to do Override by Teto, but seems to be more complicated than I thought
