Poor Artimus, He,s the last one left. Bless his heart ! As a drummer for 40 + years I always sided with Artimus and felt Gary and Billy done him shitty. I will always love skynyrd ! God Bless you Artimus!!!!
very nice.. these kinds of cars arent really my thing but i can appreciate something nice when i see and hear it! perhaps some pinned engine/powertrain stats in the description? seems to be running at a high RPM i assume its geared low?
@@WarrensWarriors - BS... video/camera stabilizers been around forever... just an arm with weight on the end attached to camera or phone at other end that makes it difficult to vibrate the camera... gives slow smooth panning shots... similar devices can smooth out shaky engines...
In late '76 special ordered a '77 GP in mint green, white interior, 301" V8, automatic... the return of good MPG !!! 16 city / 23 hiway... without O.D... too bad the 301 had a crap aluminum oil pump like a Buick 215 or V6 that only lasted until just past the warranty ran out!
That is not the barn it was in that's a Harbor Freight tent garage where it was moved too on a trailer. The original owner passed away, the car was stored all that time. I have 3 garages, but they were all full of other cars. Had no room for it inside at that time. It's been moved to one of the garages now. Complete drive train has been rebuilt; frame is off now and painted and new trunk and floor going in the body. A 57 Chevy Belair coupe that came in is now in that outside garage spot. It also is getting a frame off restoration and now apart. I am currently doing four cars and a custom van. I'm only a one man show and do all work myself it takes time. Really had no time to make more videos like I originally wanted to do.
You guys think you're achieving a great task! If it turns, it will run! Spark, fuel, oil no big deal. You're not casting an entire engine, or forging crankshaft or connecting rods!
Thats right nothing great. The point is to show the younger guys entering the hobby you don't need a big pile of money and have everything rebuilt to get old cars that have been sitting for decades running. There are two different types of car guys out there. There are the ones that would say you have to take that engine all apart and throw money at it have it completely rebuilt at the shop spend 10-15 grand or more or you might hurt it. And there are the guys that say that's bullshit and just get the dam thing running.
