Its amazing what you can find on old VHS tapes. Among the usual collection of old movies and episodes of soaps there is a treasure trove of old TV and hidden gems just waiting to be discovered. I hope to build up a collection of some of this gold to prevent it being lost forever.
It's really difficult to believe that the still stunning Honor Blackman was actually 67 years old when this 1992 Without Walls documentary was filmed. What a truly breathtaking beauty she was. Incidentally, this very same documentary is also included as a bonus feature on an American Region 1 DVD of 'The Avengers' that I have. It's a fascinating look at the history of this iconic 1960s TV series.

The early hours of 29th June 1995 had Optics (same as the early hours of 7th & 10th July 1995), the early hours of 1st July 1995 had Silk (same as the early hours of 29th May 1995) and the early hours of 3rd July 1995 had Diary (same as the early hours of 26th June 1995). There's lots of summer 1995 BBC2 closedowns on TV Room's Rewind site that have idents after the clock: Paint (early hours of 2nd June/13th July/16th July 1995), Water Reflection (early hours of 31st May/6th June/11th July 1995), Powder (early hours of 24th June 1995), Balloon (early hours of 20th June/6th July 1995), Garden (early hours of 30th May 1995) and Car (early hours of 3rd June/14th July 1995).

Shadow was used in the early hours of 12th January 1997, with Car also being used in the early hours of 19th January 1997.
