Why do prices go up simply because of created money? Is it simply because people get greedy and want a share of this created money? Stop them putting prices up is my suggestion and then how can inflation go up.
The prices have to go up when money is printed because there is more money to go around. The money has to go somewhere. People don't usually hoard money. So it goes to buying stuff. If the price of stuff doesn't go up while there is more and more money around, you will eventually run out of stuff, because there is too much money and too little stuff. (Too much money chasing too few goods) It isn't money (fiat currency) that has value. It's the stuff that has value. And money's (and stuff's) value is determined by its rarity. More money = the less valuable it is.

Anyone with experience in banking, finance or system modeling, would never call Dr Werner “smart”. He is beyond brilliant - his lucidity on topics of complexity is remarkable. In Econ101 in college, the lecturer was a Nobel laureate in economics - he taught for laughs - he was a complete clown. Any serious question was met with either mystification or a joke.
Will the following affect the ability of the Fed to enact Prof. Werner's QE1 in the future? "As announced on March 15, 2020, the Board reduced reserve requirement ratios to zero percent effective March 26, 2020. Why would it affect Werner's QE1? That being said, I think it is too late to worry about such things. CBDCs will make this talk about QE disappear, as it won't be needed as an option anymore.

Conversation is very much on the surface, skimming the top...I'm not hearing the energy on solving real world global issues through this technology and particularly Tokenization as a concept with the technology and it's specific potential to more than facilitate global monetization. Lack of access to capital and markets is a huge hazard which together with fanatic belief systems particularly in religion, creates these high rates of what I call 'human self cannibalizing tendencies' eg Palestine vs Israel, Russia vs Ukraine, USA vs the world, the list is endless. At the tail end of all this self-cannibalism is immense and grotesque human suffering. It takes time to optimize a new technology and we can't be skimming the top this early I believe. How about reframing the thinking around the question "How can Tokenization solve these problems?"?

Very interesting and important to see the "tradfi side of crypto" viewpoints, hopefully crypto can fight off government regulation to a significant extent as governments really are just captured by big entities that do not serve best interests of people per se. Look at Argentenia, regulated? yeah. A good place to work hard and save in Argentenian pesos? Hell no. Crypto is a check to this basically normal tendency of governments to subjugate and impoverish thier people via Bribery, corruption, inflation.
