VERY detailed..thanks. I can't believe how much mousse you use. I have that one and it's so thick! I was used to disappearing mousses and I thought I sprayed way too much in my hand for my finer hair.,good to see you aren't afraid of it! Here's a question how LONG does this actually take you?
Can you still get your hair up in a ponytail up at this hair length? I think this is exactly what I want to do with my hair, but it a bit more corkscrewy than yours!
Thank you for having such an in-depth video some people go from styling products to the finished look and there's no in between to show you how to defuse
This is a great video which explains things really well. I had straight hair my entire life until I was 28! It's now super wavy and curly and I have to completely relearn how to care for it.
Have you heard of LUV UR CURLS? What’s your opinion. I recently purchased the 3 step products and saw an improvement. However, I believe your hints will help even more!
I’ve blown my naturally curly hair straight my whole life only to have it turn to frizz when the Fl humidity hit. Now at 71 I’m just learning how to embrace my curls and it has really been a process! This video has been a big help!!!
I just came from the most awful curly styling in a hair saloon and they did exactly what you said: messing up my beautiful clumps with the diffusor when they were still wet. This together with a bad haircut made me look like I just came out from the longest nap ever instead of from an expensive saloon.
I haven’t used silicone shampoos for years just stumbled on this side of RU-vid I just ordered Brand- Silicone mix shampoo and conditioner treatment and I’ll see how my hair does.
I found your video today and I've watched it. I also chose the cake side. I will be watching more of your videos as I'm 70, short hair below the ears, very dry thin. Hopefully I can learn some tricks from you. I'm actually headed to the store right now to find some of the cake products. Thank you!
I'm very new to the curly hair method and the stuff you've pointed out is exactly the kind of thing that people DONT talk about in other videos but I've been doing them for my first 2 washes and lost all the beautiful curls that started to form ! Thank you so much for this video, you look absolutely gorgeous 🥰 !
Thank you soooo much for your videos. I am the only girl in my family with curls, so most of my life I wore my hair in a bun...😢. Now I am so much more confident to wear my hair down!!
I dont even allow the hair dresser to touch my hair after a cut & perm, because they are in too big a hurry to get you out. Our town is saturated with quote ' hairdressers' from the same school...only a few are actually gifted with natural talent.
You are great at teaching about how to handle naturally curly hair! Myhair went from board-straight to very curly in 6 months. My PCP said it was my endocrine system. For whatever reason I am now curly haired, I am trying to figure out what to do with it. You have come to my rescue & I appreciate you very much! Today Im going to try your techniques & cross my fingers. God bless you for sharing!❤
I am excited to look for a denman brush now. I'm in my 50's and every hairdresser ALWAYS treated my hair as if it was straight hair. I always ended up looking like the swamp thing if I didn't wear it in a ponytail every day. I'm only just learning how to have curly hair. You use oil at the end to get rid of the crunch- can you use "frizz serum"/dimethicone? I can't use many oils due to added ingredients that I'm allergic to.
I don't know how much gel you used; I always use 3-4 pumps of that for my whole head and my hair was about your length when I first started. That was enough to give a good cast, 2 did alright but it was patchy and one wasn't enough. I have done more before, didn't like it lol
Hi Angela...i have to give you a huge thanks and kudos for this video!!! It's by far the easiest to understand tutorial on how to cur curly hair. I am beyond frustrated with salons in my area... Not only for overcharging for a simple cut, but then the cut is horrible or they snip a little iff and take you to the register and telk you, "That'll be $65."...for literally nipping the ends off .. I'm very excited to put this into practice! Thank you again for this video!
I love all of your videos and advice, it is loose and not restrictive. Making it my own, while listening to your new tips and insights. My only regret is that I didn't have this curly hair advice sooner! Thank you for helping me make my curly hair all it can be!
