Though I do not express my ontological views very often, I find it necessary to step into this domain sometimes so I can offer context in a meaningful and significant way.
This channel is the collection of those efforts.

I was surfing the internet. I ran into this video preview and thought: "Oh, I know the Dunning-Kruger effect already. Probably, nothing interesting there." But then I thought: "Okay, but I might not know what I dont know" Thank you for the videos
Great job with the censorship! Now, if only there weren't just one comment to give it away... 😄 But seriously, I want to thank you for your consistent effort, I genuinely enjoy your videos. Cooperation is the only winning strategy.
1% a day makes you 37 times better in a year.. 1% less and the results collapse.. Great video to explain the importance of incremental improvement. Thank you for sharing!
@@fridolinfrohlich9594 yes, I know, been playin poker for over 20y. Limping, MOST of the time , is a play that recreationnal players will do. It is NOT a good play, by limping in , you will offer a flop for free to your opponent. anyway, good luck with your YT channel and please, keep on telling people thay should limp to hide the strengh of their hands. thanks.
@@deltapsisunday While Limping is often associated with passive or weak play, it can be a valid strategy in certain situations. However, excessive Limping can be exploitable and is generally not recommended.
@@harveencapbreton9019 In real life, people use all kinds of strategies, including ones that parallel limping. We are using poker as an analogy, not a rule. What is beautiful about both Poker and Life, you live the consequences of your decisions and the more open you are to understanding the people you play or live with, the better decisions you make.
In a chess game, there are more variations of positions than there are atoms in the observable universe. Chance and luck can play a huge roll in a poker game. In a chess game, luck and chance do not exist. Imagine playing a game where you can’t rely on strategic deception, and all your plans and strategies are in plain view for your opponent to see. Poker is awesome, but chess is beautiful.
“TRIPPING OVER JOY What is the difference Between your experience of Existence And that of a saint? The saint knows That the spiritual path Is a sublime chess game with God And that the Beloved Has just made such a Fantastic Move That the saint is now continually Tripping over Joy And bursting out in Laughter And saying, “I Surrender!” Whereas, my dear, I am afraid you still think You have a thousand serious moves.” ― Hafez, I Heard God Laughing: Poems of Hope and Joy
An 8 year old can beat a grandmaster in a game, which is amazing. Did he just compare that to beating hundreds of other competitors in a tournament and claim superiority of poker? How a kid competes against adults seems like a poor basis to judge the merits of a game and if you compare a single game to a week-long tournament, your brain isn’t working properly.
So, in poker you can do everything wrong and still win? Then why don't kids beat adulta? Also in poker: fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, ooh a non-garbage hand! Let's play it for once. Then back to folding.
Poker is a tought game, its all about probabilities like u said to win a hand, but if u think in a long term profit I think u have to be something between the first bird and the second mouse to be successful ... U have to make a poker session , with your calmness I guess u are a good player , nice video!
Very well said. Improving in Poker has improved my decision making outside of the game. Thinking clearly in high risk/pressure situations. Listening more than u speak, maintaining a monotone demeanor to enhance focus and minimize leaking information. Poker is life, and vise versa.
I totally agree. Poker is the greatest game, it resembles life so well. Decisioning process, bad beats. Reward for sticking with the profitable strategy...
Even blind bird might find something. The point is that 8 years old can easily excel in poker, just mostly poker is not game of probability, but instead of game of domination. Before puberty the domination urge is not so strong. I hope that I could help the lecturer. Have a nice day.
