Seeing this again in 2024 I believe this is the most perfect moment in the history of Fool Us. The act is totally baffling, Teller is in awe (and lost for words) Penn’s words of praise and admiration are exceptional, and the lovely Alyson thoughtfully adds to the compliments. How she could reveal so much information, even facts her partner doesn’t know, and even when her partner has not said anything out loud, makes this the best act I have ever seen.
And Johnny Olson would work at NBC as a sub-announcer on four more NBC daytime shows from Goodson-Todman between 1980 and 1983: Password Plus, Card Sharks, Blockbusters and Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour.
Hi Tess, it's your cousin Linda. You're amazing. When we were kids running around St Lucia, I always knew you'd end up on some stage somewhere. You were and are so beautiful.
This is absolutely not a criticism of any sort, but have you considered doing something atmospheric and dramatic, with a slower pace? I feel like it would land harder and be even more mystifying if you had more time to work with (even though it's far more impressive the way you're doing it now, just from a sheer skill standpoint.) The beats and the words seem even easier to pull off seemlessly against a backdrop that was all spooky, slow and dramatic. Grimacing, grunting, really acting like it takes a lot of effort to use this power. Also: possibly you could also have people check you out with metal detector wands beforehand? I just think that this is soooo damn good and improvisable that it's something that could easily win AGT if you went all Shim Lim with the dramatic stuff.
I think I have an idea. But i have none how thet get the name from ppl.. But u think she counts letters, thats turns to numbers, and those numbers stand for something. And thats what peen means when he said to learn/remeber alot for codes för stufffs.
This competed up against the $20,000 pyramid on abc and the young and the restless on cbs (abc cancelled 20,000 pyramid later in the season in order to move family feud to that time slot)
.......... usually i at least have a _guess_ how it was done. it's probably wrong, but there's a guess. ......... in this case, i've got absolutely nothing. i'm just AMAZED. i am just, wow. i'm basically speechless.
I thought they were plants especially when the guy pulled the bright orange guitar pick out. Like who carried guitar picks on them and why such a bright color for her to see from there. Until the guy with the watch. His facial expression was like “ugh I don’t wanna be here. Just go away. Is he gonna steal or break my watch?” And if you wanna impress them with real magic, have her say the serial number on that bill lol Edit-wtf I was typing that as he gave him the $100 bill then she read it lmao
I hope I get to take my boys to a show like yours sometime. Being in Wyoming though there aren’t many options and the options we have aren’t very good acts.
I would have been a little more mystified if I hadn't watched Nightmare Alley but that doesn't take away from the act. What amazing skill and there are definitely parts that I don't know how they're done, unless there's technology involved. I have to think it's all code.
