It 's a basic phone with basic price. I was an owner for 1 week. It was nearly impossible to see the screen under direct light, sunny days. There is no light adjustment. WASTE OF MONEY, as simple as that.
I just got an LG Viewty. But texting is a pain, I'm not used to touchscreen. So I was thinking to buy this one because it's really cheap on eBay. Yes/no?
In some countries outside of the US, a GSM phone can have 2 SIM cards in it, and they refer to the holder/s for the SIM card/s as a "SIM CASTAWAY" as in those countries the phones are unlocked and can be used with just about any GSM carrier, all you do is buy the prepaid SIM card/s, and pop them in, and you have a # and time on one or 2 carriers, say Orange, and Vodafone at the same time. BTW i try and answer my email/ RU-vid comments asap as they come in. it's called curtsy. ;-)
it took me 3 months becasue i created a new account and was doing and creating videos on it. but when u think of SIMS i said castaways?? hint hint there
it took you 3 months to come up with a reply??? No the old version of the phone did not have the game, but the new version has a fucked one. and yes when i think SIMS as in cell phones i think about SIM cards not sim games.
yes even the Motorolla C139 can to texting as long as you have the cell plan for it. People please do a little bit of simple google searching, it's not that hard really.
If you mean 2 spots for 2 sim cards then no what do you want from a $15 Nokia cell phone brand new out of the package in the US, no carrier is gonna let you put 2 cards into a US phone that is prepaid, they want you to use there plan and minutes. think about it and do a simple google search next time.
hey guys there's a easier way to put in on vibrate hold the pound button and it will say profile:vibrate activated and it will only be on vibrate hope this helps:)
Do a search on Ebay for the Data cable, it's on there. Nokia does not have any official data cable, or software support, There are some 3rd party software solutions out there, but they are not free, one of the best is Oxygen software, but like i said not free. the USB cable uses the factory service port o the bottom of the phone, and make the computer think it's a modem. Works better in XP then Vista and no Mac/linux support yet far as i know of. good luck
Depends on your network provider, but you can get a data cable off ebay, and there are some 3rd party software solutions out there, but they are not free. The phone supports Midi, and small Mp3 files.
Amen, I even surf the net using OperaMini with mine. works great, and even got a few ring tones, and back grounds on it, along with some games. It's a simple phone for a reason. Some people don't want a phone that cost them $100 - $500, with a $100 bill each month, and some people also can't have a camera phone with there work. Damn thing makes calls in and out and does it very well for a $15 phone. Nokia makes a great product.
Before you go spitting out lies, i got mine for $15 new with AT&T GoPhone, Works great, and the best damn call in call out phone, i ever bought, it beats my $110 Moto Razr, and $25 Moto C169i, on Siginal and call quality any day of the week.
If it's an unlocked phone you can put any GSM card in it, as long as you have the right model of the 2610 for where your at, in the USA you need to have the 2610b it's more silver, and is locked to the AT&T network. in the US GSM is 850/1900Mhz, in Europe it is 900/1800mhz. So keep all of those in mind, but it picks up really well here in the States with AT&T for $15. one of the best phone i have gotten in the $9 - $40 range.
Unlike 99.99% of people on the planet I hate mobile phones but had to get a simple pay-as-you-go one for various reasons. The 2610 was £19.74 including £10 credit(from Phones 4U). So just £9.74 for the phone. Seriously good value, and I like the voice recorder & speakerphone. Mine's black/dark grey.
