Yeah, Carr had great talent around him, lost, and they got rid of him. That is also what will cost Dak his job. And as you say, Mark, franchise QBs are hard to find. Dallas can't draft a good college QB until the Dak situation is resolved. Romo had been hurt so much a change made sense ... even to him. Dak is not close to finished so bringing in competition would be less than ideal. What matters is surviving the season with dignity. I'm having a hard time believing Jerry will reverse course and sign DP to a contract. The playoff loss to GB still smells but it was Jimmy Johnson talking to Jerry Jones in the owners box I remember most. Decisions were made in that moment.

Hunter renfrow is a free agent now cause he’s not very good, Darren Waller was always injured and not mentally in a good space he’s now early retired, the raiders def has been awful, tell the full story. Cause Dak had Zeke in his prime, lamb and cooper , and a great def. Not to mention the coaching compared to the raiders.

@spilledmilk1262 parsons has a 5th year, option, they don't have to pay him right now and can work out Ceedees Deal or make it a long-term Deal to help out with the cap, plus they have 14M in space that they saved from not resigning Gallup its ways to do it, look at all the players the eagles have signed, they paying jayland 51M a year
I'm begging to think Dak should just say to the Jones' that if he doesn't get a contract done before training camp starts they would never sign him. Deadlines make contracts and it also makes them move.
