You are correct. At these custom price points can we expect some rigorous QC? or is the issue that it is a custom and rather than fix or remake a flawed one, they just ship it and move on to the next order? Cheers!
after I hit the Powerball and spend a lot of time in very expensive steak houses, I might have to get myself something like that for my traveling steak knife. I think it's very good looking. thank you for pointing out the blade play and the way you handled it. for me, knives that have blade play and/or are not centered immediately go on my do not buy list.
I have had my eye on his knives for a while. I haven't gotten one because funds and the availability of larger knife sizes have not aligned. Most of what's been available has been on the smaller side. This is the first review I have seen of his knives.
Seeing this video makes me wish I would of thrown the westy battle in with the other knife i sent out a few days ago as a suprise. I was about to but decided not to last second 🤦 Definitely need to get it out your way eventually

You know me and my tastes/sensibilities-the King Battle would just sit in a safe here (thus it would be pretty promptly sold). That Rexford screams "daily carry" though, so embrace that! Can't wait to check that one out one of these days!
the dagger has purposes, if the person grabs onto the dagger by accident, both ends are cutting his hands. Unlike a knife, where his other side is safe, no sharp edges. And that other knife, use a machete, that thing ain't doing nothing, on jungle or trees. Portable axes exist, and people have Machete's in the jungle anyway
Every time you show that Hellraiser I forget what other knife you are reviewing! The Herman is a very sleek design. I am ok with the 3 screws on the show side because they look like a design element. But the two below the clip are really annoying. Thanks for the vid!
Congrats Dirk. Your collection is reaching new heights!! I really love this one. I carry two when I get new ones. Carry one in the morning and then later in the day change it out to the other one.
I would absolutely daily carry them both. Why choose between em when you have multiple pockets. Just saying. Speaking from experience it’s a viable solution 😂
I like them. I have two thus far and I will purchase more. One of the two I have is a Heretic Manticore-X in Magnacut. Outstanding OTF! And the branding and serial number doesn't bother me.
coolest design ever, but i not like the shape of the troodons ....no flat spot .......turns on the table like a figet.......................like the straight shape from my vosteed corgi or a UT
I think I need to send the copper head so you can do a comparison… that would be cool to see how good it is against the custom.. I love to see when production companies make great custom designs.. Congrats friend… that’s amazing
