Margaret Thatcher was before my time so can’t comment as I haven’t experienced it first hand. I can only go off what I am told or read. But these are the policies they enacted not all of them are bad… but I don’t believe any of them have showered themselves in glory. 👍

I agree with the sentiment but John Major’s handling of the ERM was at best suspect… In my opinion he knew exactly what he was doing when he signed us up to that. He knew where it was going to end and how it was handled was horrendous. We were in a precarious financial position anyway and this made it significantly worse. It then the stage for Blair to come in and dominate parliament and bring the WEF agenda to bear.
