Would have made a superb Olympic Stadium site. Already has transport infrastructure to and from airport, city, Sunshine and Gold Coasts with train, bus, tunnels, and major arterial roads. The stadium could have been built over the airport rail link and elevated to ‘fan out’ to accomodate massive seating. Underneath could have housed easy pedestrian access, amenities, kiosks, change rooms etc.

Thanks for four years of hell, property devs can now make it useless again in four years :) in 88 travelling to expo 88 it was non stop roadworks , nothings changed since. Move trucks to rail! Fine drivers for sitting in the right hand lane at 30kmh below the limit. Huge fines for tailgating. Its flow more than an extra lane

@@Adventureexplorersmedia Not sure if it's too far but the Bruce Highway upgrades between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast? Or even the 42km upgrade bypassing Gympie. Just ideas anyways
The flyover and descriptions are well done. Thank you for documenting this. The motorway itself is and will be a disaster. This was a koala corridor. People living nearby will have to suffer the noise and the air pollution. Everyone in Gold Coast will be worse off as the capacity of this road is for 120,000 car trips per day: it will bring that many extra cars to local roads.
That was a wonderful video thank you very much . I visited there many years ago , it's an absolutely beautiful place . The aerial photography is great to see it from such a different perspective.😊
Wow. Top class video. Drove this section today. Live at Elanora. A massive project with lots of hurdles to overcome - stormwater drainage, bridges, utilities etc. The frustrating delays will be worth it when the project is complete. Keep the videos coming. Cheers.
@@TBird89 Every non-toll road gets a budget. They don't take an average of 2.5kms/year to be built, or about 7 metres/day. Seven metres a day, are you kidding me??That's not a lack of funds, it's a lack of professionalism or efficiency. It's just ridiculous.
