Would you be willing to build a position controlled stepper motor setup for me? I will pay you whatever you think is fair. Ive veen trying to build it myself using arduino uno but cant figure out what im doing wrong.
Let me tell you, it is _awesome_ hearing this exact sound come out of my dad's old Mazak CNC machine. That sucker winds up the spindle with a noise exactly like this except so loud you can hear it in your soul, then it just starts making chips fly. F*cking amazing.
It sounds like a POST for the motor, really. First speed is testing the motor windings and encoder, the second speed is testing bearing drag, then spinning up for full power.
1. You know you could build this in a PC RIGHT. 2. Use this in drones RIGHT! 3. make this spind a generator RIGHT! 4. HAND DRILLS 5. i mean the list GOES FUCKING ON RIGH!
getting stepper motors to run isn't the biggest challenge, it's feeding it control data from an interface (serial, IOT, user UI etc...). This is where i need to learn more.
