I wash my hair maybe once a month I usually condition it only. I wash it only because you can have viruses bacteria like Mersa and staph on ur body including your head
Meanwhile I’m just tryna figure out how other naturalistas get them baby hairs to lay down n stay down. Whether wit locs or now wit my twa that edge control only lasts til I step out the door n then I’ve basically wasted my time 🤦🏾♀️

I’m super late but yes when I don’t use anything hard or that creates friction the hair shaft itself is kept safe and when using your hand it helps stimulate blood flow🤎

I LOVE the verse at the beginning and thank you for the hand technique. I’ve tried the sponge (never could develop a like for it) and even doing it with a brush, and it never occurred to me to just use my hand!
