🎉Thanks ‘MotorVibes’ Outstanding video. Script well written and for all of us non-native English speakers your subtitles are much appreciated. Greetings from sunny tropical THAILAND. Johannes K. Lindgren, Born in Suomi-Finland. The septuagenarian long time resident in Bangkok. Now living in the northern Thai hinterland. My ride KAWASAKI Vulcan 650
Doesn’t it look a bit like the Japanese Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S. Also a twin albeit smaller 650 cc. But the of course the double pipes look different from “KAWA” Vulcan and also Kawasaki Vulcan seems longer (Wheel Base) Thanks, again ‘MotorVibes’. Do you a have a podcast?
Thanks. I like the ELIMINATOR. I tested a demo unit in THAILAND at a Bangkok KAWASAKI dealer last years. They wouldn’t let me out on the main road outside the dealer showroom. So, it was the lane behind the showroom 2nd and third gear and a little bit of fourth. Five, six u-turns. And lot of BRAKING! A month later a purchased the “KAWA” big brother cruiser Kawasaki Vulcan 650 S in Dec 2023. Today 9,100 km on the clock. Every ride puts a big smile on my face. Johnny BikeSanooK! Born in Suomi-Finland.. Long time resident here in sunny tropical northern Thai hinterland.
Only three comments! Why? Excellent script. Love those cliches! And outstanding subtitles. Greetings from sunny tropical THAILAND Johnny BikeSanooK! My favorite is the FAT BOB. MY STEED here in the Thai hinterland is the Japanese KAWASAKI Vulcan 650.
Only three comments? No worries? I have subscribed. And commented! Your SCRIPT is kind of unique. You, the narrator did you hire a professional script writer, advertising copy writer who came carrying all the heavy “like flogging a dead horse” cliches? BUT, I LIKE IT! And your subtitles - outstanding with the green - Upper Case and the Green ACCENTS! It will be appreciated by all non-native ‘MotorVibes’ You Tube viewers around the WORLD! I am one of them Johnny BikeSanooK! Born in Suomi-Finland resident for donkeys years here in sunny tropical THAILAND.
*Which one? I’m a septuagenarian motorcyclist. I chose KAWASAKI Vulcan Parallel Twin 650 S. After two years on a vibrating Royal Enfield Meteor 350 single cylinder “thumper”. Thanks for the chronic Wry Neck/Stiff Neck. Greetings from sunny tropical Thailand*
8:43 *The Indian built BMW G310 R “Motorrad”. In 2022 I rode it through a torrential tropical rainstorm on a busy Thai highway with 10-wheel trucks and double decker tour buses splashing all over. In the night time. I needed to turn the HAZARD LIGHTS ON! Only high beam. No hazard lights!!! How is this possible? Whose idea? The BMW beancounters at Bee Emm HQ in Munich, Deutschland? SHAME ON YOU! You jeopardize SAFETY for PROFIT. I hope you shareholders, millionaires are HAPPY!*
@MotorVibesPro wow surprised again! Real good sense of humor for me a foreigner. But it might be seen a "cringe" for some English native speakers. Chill man 😎
*I was considering buying The HONDA Rebel Cruiser. However, I changed my mind. Purchased KAWASAKI Vulcan 650 S ABS Purchased in Dec 2023. No regrets! Today 9600 km on the clock. NO REGRETS! Johnny BikeSanooK! RU-vidr (Carsanook). Resident in Sunny Tropical THAILAND Khlong Nam Lai Village Kamphaeng Phet province. 380 km from Bangkok*
Glad to see Honda is putting color back on their bikes. They are still being stingy with chrome but in time they will bring it back. All the lumps of coal they have been trying to sell lately are all over Market Place many with less than a thousand miles and asking 3/4 what they paid for them. They are ugly and look cheap, To ride them after dark is more than just dangerous.
What is shiny on the Shadow Phantom? Until they bring out a Shadow with the 1300 they use on the Fury, I'll be sticking with my shiny Shadow VT1100 C2. Come on Honda, you surrendered the cruiser market to Harley and they're effing it up.
Yeah the MTs aren't built for touring. Not saying one couldn't on an MT, but they aren't ideally suited to it, starting with the frame. I have a Tracer 9 GT that has logged a lot of touring miles comfortably. I snicker at guys talking about a sealed o-ring chain as if it will break without constant attention and that it needs oil on the outside of it daily. That is simply not true.
agreed, I do some light "touring" on my sv650 but anything more than 5-6 hours a day isn't very comfortable and that's mostly back roads not highways. If I was touring I'd definitely be buying a different bike
The honda goldwing is the only bike on this list that would consider a touring bike. It's very difficult, and aggrevating to try to tour thousands of miles on a bike on which the chain has to be cleaned and oiled every 500 miles.
The Goldwing is grotesquely ugly so is the Transalp with a horrible exhaust. In fact Honda made much better looking bikes in the 😊60's, 70's, 80's 90's theyre just getting goddamn ugly at the moment. Its enough to put you off bikes and buy a sodding tin box!
Maybe but its still extraordinarily ugly(imho of course) compared to the original. And whats the point if you want to carry passengers and tow a trailer one would be better off getting a car etc.
