Welcome to Wade's World - there will be randomness. Together we will discover the outdoors, tackle projects and tasks, and learn along the way. I have a variety of hobbies and interests so this is me documenting some of those experiences. Thanks for stopping by, glad to have ya!
The quick response to the doctors and whoever there giving Hamlin CPR and saving his life is really great to know to see how short life can be. His first INT came last Monday against the jags and to see him make that play, it made me think that God had mercy on him . I hope this never happens to another player
Bro idk if you were paying attention during science class when learning about forces and newton’s laws of motion, but what do you think typically happens when your get hit in your chest by a hard helmet while your heart is in mid pump?
One of the absolute worst moments in tv history. We didn’t sleep much that night, we kept checking for updates on his condition through the night and all the next day. So glad he’s back, healthy and playing again but omfg what an awful day.
Crazy that the NFL basically thought they had someone die on the field and their initial reaction was to give them FIVE MINUTES to regroup and start playing again. Unreal.
Both teams upset. These are young men. Something you don't know whats going on eternally can end everything. Many walk around not knowing they have heart issues.
Something that really shocked me is that they showed the replay of what happened before they knew he would be okay. I don't know if this is the norm in football or just the lack of deadly encounters, but as an avid F1 watcher, I'm used to never seeing the replay of an incident before the driver (or in this case player) is known to be okay.
Luckily for my man he experienced this while having the attention of many people and having medics so close, some people go through this whole being alone at home
I’m glad someone else said it. All she seemed to want to talk about is the game plan, will they continue the game? It came off as so insensitive to me.
Seeing this happen in person was so surreal and so scary. So glad he fully recovered and cheated death. Hats off to both the Bills and Bengals, and the medical personnel who saved his life.
There’s no way that would’ve been fair to either team. That’s traumatizing and no one would’ve been focused enough to play. Good on Zac Taylor for calling it if you ask me. I was there that night and I can tell you no one would’ve been watching that game with any kind of joy
He didn't suffer cardiac arrest... He had a heart attack (miocardial infarction or MI). Cardiac arrest would mean that he was asystole (flat line) and an AED wouldn't have done anything. An AED wouldn't even allow first responders to administer a shock. I can't believe that people haven't done any research but...
Christian Eriksen went into cardiac arrest at the Euros and was back on the pitch within eight months. Cardiac arrest is not necessarily a death sentence or a career ender if you get it under control and are treated right away. That’s why you’ll see more fatalities at lower leagues and in poorer countries where AED equipment and trained medical staff aren’t on site.
That man died and the nfl covered it up. His family never spoke on it and he wont even speak on it, that’s isnt even damar hamlin anymore that’s a clone. Tattoo’s dont match and things are missing. People gotta wake up to what’s really going on.
