honestly after trying Mark 2, I switched the trimpot to Mk1 and liked that a lot better. A lot of people I know who tried this didn't like it much at all on guitar.
I have owned the all. I kept the Flint. The Fender is ok, expected more from them. The Keeley is good sounding, too complicated to use live for me. The Flint ticks all the boxes.
This is meant to be constructive… Why so twiddly? I never felt I got to hear much of any of the presets. It seems to me a better approach might be to highlight each of the six presets, and then twiddle with the “live” settings…Imvho.🎸👨🏼⚕️🫶✌️♾️ Cheers/Slainte.😊
Yeah my dad said the same thing 😂 I try my best to not twiddle but I guess I feel desperate that I can only record for a certain amount and I want you guys to hear all possible sounds from it! Thanks for the feedback though, I will try to go way slower from here on out

Oh no... Now I am really confused. So many nice sounding tremolo reverbs. After you tried both the Fender Tre verb and this one is there one you like better?
This one gives you a more authentic sound but with less options (it’s also mono, not stereo like the tre verb) but it does sound more authentic to my ears! It’s also more pristine but less “springy” so if you are looking for a more studio like sound that is only mono, go for this one, but if you need stereo or play surf rock/ rockabilly type music where you need that drippy sound, go for the tre verb! Hope that helps!
@@guitarpedalhub Thank you for all the Great videos and helping me make a informed decision by answering all my questions. After a lot of thought I think the TreVerb is the one for me. My first choice was the Flint but saved almost $100 by getting the TreVerb. And it does sound the most drippy. I also liked the Memphis Sun but think it was a bit limited. I appreciate you answering all my questions. Again you and your videos were a big help, Thank You.
I like the hydra best quite honestly. For rockabilly I would probably pick the tre verb out of the three but outside of them I would probably pick something from source audio (best spring emulation on the market)
I have the Sabbra Cadabra at 18volts on my board rn and the Zoar might replace it as i have another fuzz that's very sabbathy. Amazing od/fuzz/distortion. I love the headroom with pedals that can run 9/12/18 volts.
@@guitarpedalhub Ill check it out. Fyi not all Catalinbread can do 12 & 18volts but I also like the Echo Rec and old Semiphore at higher volts. Just bought ZOAR & can't wait to run it at 18v.
You are very welcome! Another great option is the cassette effect inside the texture module of the chroma console! I have been getting some really good lofi sounds from it
Yeah you are totally right! Its just difficult with the setup I currently have to do it in real time, but I can certainly try next time there is an fx that would sound better without a constant loop playing! Thank you for the suggestion
@@guitarpedalhub - That’s too cool. It was great for this demo. I have the Dream and Lion. I use them live, but I have some experiments to combine them. I’ve even used the Dream via 4-cable method into the Friedman IR-X. It bypasses the Friedman’s sound but uses the IR until you bypass the Dream. It’s like having a 3-channel system.
@@TyroneLoganMusic Wow how creative. I have been anxiously waiting for the KMA Machines Endgame to come out so I can try out having different IRs on the dream and also see how a stereo fx loop will sound

@@guitarpedalhub - no worries at all. Appreciate the reply. I have a portion of it down, but I am hearing some bass notes that are making me think my voicing/fingering is inaccurate on parts. I’ll keep at it. Great jam either way.
