We're Grant and Teresa, a couple of married foodies, oenophiles and travelers. We recently moved to Napa, California. Follow along as we explore our new home in wine country! We'll post our wine, food and travel adventures here weekly. If there are any particular wineries or other places you'd like us to cover, be sure to leave us a message. Cheers!
This is great! I did a video on the winter passport in Calistoga and it's such a wonderful deal especially if someone is staying for a weekend! I loved the bloopers, I think that burger was out to get Grant!
Thank you so much for this collab! It's so nice to meet new friends and I appreciate your openness to meeting up and breaking bread! I absolutely love all your videos, you're so amazing at describing the wines and so knowledgeable about the area! I can't wait to see you both again!
This was very helpful, heading to England this month and traveling to Bath and hopefully Stonehenge. Small world as I am born and raised in Sonoma Valley!
That’s wonderful! I’m glad the video was helpful. Thanks so much for watching and we hope you have an amazing time! And yes, it is a small world! Sonoma is such a beautiful place.
I agree poodles are super smart. I have one and I’m always shocked by her witt. However these were some of the dumbest tests ever to prove their intelligence. A pug could easily do some of these things and pugs are dumpster dogs
Thanks for the kind words! Yes, the key to packing for a trip to the UK is to plan for layers. That way, you can adjust during the day, as needed. No matter the season, bring light underlayers like t shirts or thin long sleeves. Then, bring a sweater or two to layer on top in case it gets chilly, which can happen, even in summer. And bring a waterproof jacket. If it’s spring or summer, make it a light raincoat. If it’s late autumn or winter, make it a heavier waterproof coat for warmth. If you plan on doing a lot of sightseeing, be sure to wear shoes that you can feel comfortable walking a few miles in. Hope these tips are helpful!
Inglenook owned by Francis Coppola (He lives in the back) is a Chateau with beautiful history story and winemaking process, also has a bistro (yes they sell coffee) no tasting reservations required, if you reserve in the bistro (it gives you free entry to winery) you can purchase by the glass & food pairings, museum is free Francis Coppola (Godfather movie director) collections Museum, gorgeous views of vineyards and gardens, children allowed to use wooden boats in fountain, beautiful entryway lined trees, in the heart of Rutherford, across from Rutherford grill. Look it up 😉 You’re welcome 😊
We recommend you try Inglenook, cheap, family friendly vineyard owned by Director Francis Coppola who made the GodFather movie. It also has a museum. Auberge Du Soleil Bar Restaurant, has amazing views! Charles Krug Pizza and Champagne. Far Niente is also nice! Love your RU-vid channel, big Fan!
Thanks so much for the kind words and recommendations! We totally agree with Inglenook and Auberge du Soleil (a really special experience)! We haven’t had the Charles Krug or Far Niente experiences yet, but they’re definitely on our list. Thanks again for your support!
Like you, I spent a year in Oxford when I was young. I'm going there with my wife and children in two weeks and can't wait to share my other hometown with them! We will be spending at least an hour in Blackwells! 🙂
That’s wonderful, Jonathan! We’re glad you’re going to be able to share that experience with your family. Blackwells is definitely a must! Have a great time!
Hi! For the limited time we had there, we opted not to wait in line for the baths. I just checked the Roman Baths website and it recommends 90 minutes to 2 hours to see everything. I don’t think we would have had enough time to enjoy the baths without rushing. That’s why we opted to use our time in Bath to explore the town by walking around. There were a few people in our group who did pay to see the Roman Baths, so I think it’s doable if you don’t mind rushing.
Wonderful! Yes, the guides do a terrific job sharing the history of Corregidor. I’m glad you were able to experience the tour, too. And thank you for watching our video!
Hi. Such a great video! So glad that I came across your channel. We're heading for a 2 week trip for London, Scotland, and Ireland in July. Following some of the same places you went! So helpful.
